I want to love this game so much after despising the way that Black Ops turned out. But this is become more and more difficult when I empty 15-20 mp5 rounds into someone's back and have them live. Lag compensation really has discourged me from playing this game. Specifically the time I walked up behind a guy shooting out of a window and point blanked him with a ksg in the back of the head twice with both shots getting hit markers, yet he turned around and killed me anyway. I understand wanted to make this more appealing for the casual player, but I feel it is unfair to completely disregard the people who have been playing this series since the original for PC.

Signed (but on the basis that IW/SH Games look to tweak it so it's more like MW2).

The game requires some lag compensation but not at the certain extent that MW3 currently has.

Considering MW3 is using "ping matchmaking" to place players with equal connections & distance, why put too much of a handicap on the host connection?
