1, Soldiers use them IRL, so taking them out of the game is a no, but they have nerfed them.

2 Has no in-game advantage, so I see no problem with it,

I hope Iw bans all the players with the buttons in the clan tags.  Its modding/glitching the system and has no place on XBL.  Ban them all for life.

IW won't ban them because there are so many peope who have done/are doing it, it would decrease their money income by alot

its not modding and not really a glitch, its more of an easter egg.

This is not modded though, it's done in game using the clan tag editor,

Its a 2 digit code they out in turns into a symbol, e.g the green A button.

Therefore it's an easter egg, not a mod/glitch

It is modding, they modded the files that alow them to do that. And it is against xbox tos and they can be banned for it. But doubtfully will be done. Just like the screwed up leaderboards.
