If Black Ops had Offline Split-Screen Bots Patched in..., Then Why Not on MW3?

Black Ops was released with Split-Screen, but it had no bots like in combat training. Combat traing you had to be online to use the bots, which had a backlash by the community when PSN went down, and by people who had no internet connection. Treyarch then patched in offline bots into Split-Screen on Black Ops.
So...can IW do the same with MW3? I hope so, it would be like combat training because you have your own profile to rank up that is saved the HDD like in MW2. Patch in offline bots to that and that would be kick ass. It would give players the option to play while the bugs in MP get worked and patched out.
Anyway, I think it's safe to say that it's possible, but it's up to the demand of the community for the feature to get IW/SH to patch it in.
What do you think?
at first i was going to say why do you need offline bots when you can play offline survivor or online with a friend? but then i remembered when i'd go knife/ballistic knife only against nine bots on nuketown....... so i'm with you mate
I completely agree, Infinity Ward please give us bots in offline splitscreen again!
I´m really looking forward for this patch, it would be like: THE ULTIMATE LOCAL MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE EVER! join the cause: http://www.change.org/petitions/iw-development-team-please-add-bots-to-local-off line-multiplayer

It is fair to say that with MW3, IW has rushed a bit to ensure yearly billion dollor lottery. treyarch did get few things right with Blops and AI bots was one of it. Survival mode is not a replacement of it.........though it can supplement Zombies. I liked AI bots, as I am an average player and it gets me time to get used of maps and guns. I don't have patience to go and search empty maps in private game modes to get used of it.
I agree.
Another voice for Bot support here! Funny thing is, I'm actually a fairly skilled player, but I'm starting to feel guilty every time I frag someone online (in Homefront on PC). I need to fight enemies who don't have feelings, lol!
But I guess the big thing is that most of my friends don't have sufficient connections to play online, so they either haven't bought (or regret buying) a game which they can't play one-third of. But on another personal note, I miss all the bonding time playing offline multiplayer with my father, and I know he REALLY misses it. We've played some survival mode, but the enemies that singlemindedly hunt you down kinda stress my dad out (he just wants to hang back and snipe.)
people living other than US and Europe with average internet connection, have only chance to play MP regulalry and improve with AI bots.
I was a PC player from 1998 -2010 and lived with very poor to average internet connection. never managed to play MP.
Though i started playing video games in 1988, the only time i managed to play online was 2010 onwards when i got PS3 and shifted to a new country.
Even then it was combat training and off line bots which helped me to pick things fast. Since then apart from bots i am now close to complete 400 Hrs of playlist time only on COD.
They DO HELP
