Try port forwarding your router. Just google you router name and port fowarding for xbox 360 or ps3.
Thanks for the suggest, however I have tried this. I also have my PS3 wired to the ADSL router. Not sure what to try now.
If you reset it that might work. Or maybe its just a glitch on Mw3 atm.
read this entirely if you are using a router:

if you still get strict nat when plugged directly to the modem, turn off the xbox, unplug the modem for 2 or 3 mins, plug in the modem, let it fully boot up so that the normal lights are lit, then turn on the xbox again. if you are still getting strict nat, contact isp, they maybe blocking the ports.
Great feed back thanks. However this is for the Xbox and I have a PS3. I will read through and try to pull out the things that may help.
ahh didnt see you were just ps3. some of the info is still good in the link i provided. and i can also comment on the adsl modems. i worked for tech support of a dsl provider, and even though we gave out standard modems, the modems had firmware much like a router, which handled the pppoe connection so it was "always on". on these modems you could put them into a "dumb" modem, which disables the firmware in the modem.
Thanks FOXHOUND, and thanks to everyone with helpful suggests.
