Is this a joke?? Was this really said?? Someone FROM IW please on inform me on your stand on boosting the leaderboards!!

I don't officially represent IW, but this was said yesterday.

1st round of #MW3 bans going out. Any player attempting to play unfairly or boost rank will be banned from leaderboards and from playing.
