I tried Battlefail...

and imadbro

I get more frustrated in this than in CoD. I just couldnt handle getting killed by a camper from a cross the map and getting killed by a person who i shot first. THIS IS ALL BS. and anyone who are in a tank are considered god.

atleast in cod i die because i didnt realise a person was there but this is crap

ive been playing it for the past few days and ive enjoyed it the pace of the game is to slow for me but i think thats because the maps are big and i dont really know where im going most of the time.

Any FPS you die in, you'll end up frustrated whether it's COD, BF or any other FPS shooter

Tanks in BF3 --> switch to your engineer class and use your launchers. They aren't difficult to take out.

BF3 has much larger maps so yes, you will be killed from the other side of the map (not knowing where the other player was). You could also spot them easily by aiming down your sights & clicking the select button for PS3 and back button for XBOX 360.

If a player is defending a point in conquest or an MCOM in Rush, are you calling them out as a camper or just someone defending the objective?

If BF played like COD (a faster game), it wouldn't be BF, it'll just be another FPS trying to copy the COD formula.

It's good that we have games like BF or Homefront etc. where they aren't trying to copy every single aspect of COD whether it's using the killstreak system, designing smaller maps or making it fast paced just to appeal to EVERY gamer.

Like you, I play more COD because I prefer fast paced games but I also like a game where you have more freedom whether it's flying jet's or playing in larger maps. It's a reason why I keep a BF game in handy just in case I want to mess around in tanks or do something that's not part of the COD mentalilty.

    Just my thoughts.

Meh, I don't seem to have any problem with tanks.

I lone-wolf and have taken down 70 tanks in my time playing BF3.

I also use the "Flak" specialisation on my engineer class.

As long as your teammates are spotting tanks & you have players running the engineer class, it's pretty easy. Also, finding good spots to take out tanks is helpful.

I couldn't agree more. It is a different game completely. And yes, there were actually things about Homefront I liked too. I prefer playing COD with certain friends and BF3 with others. Different styles for different people.

lol, this is only because you can't complain about MW3 yet, don't worry, your time is nearly up.

Prob best you copy "OverPowered" somewhere now, so its easier for you to post everywhere

I know, right? All of these immature people here bash BF and from every post, it is always something about OP vehicles or dying from a camper. They all play it like it is CoD and lone wolf instead of helping their random teammates out and destroy it.

By the way, tanks are built to withstand 2-3 rockets. Someone repaired the tank, but your maturity level and common sense won't let you understand that.

When MW3 comes out, there is going to be similar or even worst issues that BF3 ran into (that are now fixed). Will be funny to read the OP weapon topics, glitches and exploits, servers lag for some months, and so on. You uber fanboys deserve it.

One of the problems with CoD today is the trash that gets on the game with the intention to become famous. CoD stupidly adds the theater mode that makes this problem even worse. Causing more people to play like a team mate even less.

Yea. I have caught on with theatre mode. Josh stated that its purpose was for fun and bragging rights, not for showing bad hit detection or 20 feet lunges with knives. But, why add the horribly executed feature if people will use it as a way to show how laggy a game was or that headshot hitmarker with a sniper rifle?

It also has brought in more lonewolfing like you stated which makes matters worst.

Welcome to the world of video games that require skill. BF guns have actual recoil, so just shooting first doesn't grant you the win. You have to be able to aim, and KEEP aiming, on the target until you get the kill.

    Hurp durp.

Yeah I just tried it. Its a good game but it is not for me. I dislike large maps, and can't stand not being able to see who is shooting me 90% of the time. I like the small, fast pased, cod games.

    Re: I tried Battlefail...

I bought it and have played it a little bit. I'm a COD fan more than a BF guy, but not a fanboy. Battlefield has it's fun moments but anyone that says COD has laser bullets or that it takes more skill is on something.

There is only small recoil on the weapons, and I have owned on a few games with a PP2000. Bad company 2 was more "accurate" in how the weapons worked.

Anyway fanboys will be fanboys. I'm excited for MW3 and can't wait to play.

What vims said, Engies can tear tanks to shreds. Just lay a bunch of mines in the road and watch em get blown to bits, can usually get some nice killfeeds in the process.

Either that or if you're feeling lucky, use a heli. From what I've seen not many people can pilot em right tho =/
