Why can't i link my Xbox live acc?

I try to link my account but it either sends me to a website called demonware which doens't load or says it cant be linked atm
any help will be greatfully appreciated

I believe the e-mail address on your Xbox account, has to be the same as the one you are logged into on this website. Other then that I really have no other solutions. Hope everything works out man.

  I can confirm that it doesn't have to be the same email address, but I also had issues getting it to work. After about 15 thousand tries, I finally gave up, and logged in a week later and it was linked...whatever. I unlinked it because I'm still having constant problems with my profile and tried again and it took 5 or 6 tries but it finally worked again.

    I don't know if this will help but I found that I was logged into another account on xbox.com and it wouldn't let me link--thinking that I wanted to link to the other account that was saved to the browser. Sometimes my browser will save pages even if I exited the browser. I reset everything and got it to finally work.

  I just changed my Xbox live email and still doesn't work :/ im sure they'll fix it by the release if not....

it doesn't work on the elite registration page, but i went back to my profile page and tried to link it and it worked.
