I definitely agree with you on this one. I think Treyarch has made a momentus mistake with this gaming decision. If anything the game modes within core should have been subsidized. Many over my friends play hardcore headquarters and its a shame that this game had to be lumped in with less than worthy categories like Domination.Gamers who prefer a particular type of game mode shouldn't have to vote for it. It's like skimming the top layer for menial game play. Hopefully Treyarch will fix this egregious oversight. Personally, I like free for all and lord willing they don't tamper with it.

Welcome to what is called HUMAN NATURE. A complaint from a person is much more likely to be said then praise.

Lets use 90 percent like and 10 percent hate for an example. Lets also use 10 million people playing the game throughout the day.

You could have 90 percent of the players perfectly happy with the game but only 1 percent of those people will stop playing the game just to praise the game on a forum. Those people will say nothing and just keep playing.

Now add in the factors that we have faster communications on the internet, game chat, cel phones. Then add in the amount of people that play the game due to no life as opposed to someone who works 40 hours a week. Add in the fact that alot of the people are real 10 to 14 year old spoiled kids with every game system possible. Kids who "want it and want it now". add in the factor of rumors being started due to those complaints and you come up with 80 percent of the haters telling somone else. Now take in the factor that this game is the highest selling game ever AND presently the "hot new item" this will make it the most talked about game at present til another one takes its place.

Out of the ten percent of the people that hate the game based on those factors above 80 percent of the people with post , rant , whine, complain on the message board. Bad feelings always travels faster than good feelings.

    good praise
    10,000,000 x 90 per. = 9,000,000 x 1 percent = 90 thousand praises

    bad praise
    10,000,000 x 10 percent = 1,000,000 x 80 percent = 800 thousand complaints

So based on that OF COURSE its going to seem that everyone complains about this game. Then you got the kids that get their butts whipped and blame someone else for modding, or blame the game company or do whatever they can to shift the blame away from themselves. (kind of like the banned emblems).

So for those kids who think "this is the worst one yet" think about those facts. Activision has made the highest amount of money from this game and even taken that money and added more time to make updates, chase boosters, release map pack, add more employees for the next game, etc.

Look up statistics on customer complaints and add in the factors of news travels fast and see how normal these amount of complaints are.

Forgive me for going of on any tangents. I just woke up from being up all night long.

    Thanks.

I was trying to present how the perception of "the worst game ever because everyone hates it" is skewed and perceived incorrectly by certain factors. (wow, I must be waking up !)

I think that this is the hot new complaint game and soon it will be the new map packs that take its place then it will be MW3, Blops 2, etc.

    Same complaints difference game.

most of my games in "flags" has been a quit fest because you have all the people who don't want to play one game mode or the other quitting cause its not what they want to play.

    good job 3arc

this is why you can't listen to a small group of people to make changes for everyone

They wont touch core seeing as thats where the vast majority play. If they did I think the whining would literally overload the site...

You know what though? Just because you dont like Dom doesn't mean its not worthy. Funnily enough more people play Dom than HQ...
