Good post. I do think that maybe there could of been more testing on the PS3. However there are always going to be things thing what will not show up till is live with actual gamers.

Will people stop licking treyarch's ******* FFS.

herp derp somebody complained they must be 12 years old, open your eyes. Xbox versions work. PS3 versions do not. People are pissed off with the fact that a game was released in Beta phase. The game is broken. Not just 'oh this is an issue' i cant play it. At all.

Im not a rich guy, buying Black Ops took a large chunk out of my money for the month, but i thought it would be worth it. Ive owned it since release day and it was only playable for the first week. I cant even get a full game online now, and then people say 'well, they're playing with people to work out what's wrong!' 2 weeks later and they still dont know what the issue is? Are you kidding me?

Money aside, The programmers should know this. Having one or two people play with 6 or 7 out of 700,000 players and 'noting down' what needs fixing is pointless. If i was working in Treyarch i would be embarrassed to say i worked on Black Ops, functionally speaking it is a joke.

Im tired of seeing people who aren't experiencing the problems as much as others complain that they are complaining. I bought this product with my own money and it does not work. I understand the patching process, i understand glitches and bugs can happen, but for a game to be in this state upon release is pathetic. Even the forums dont work properly, you have to re-login 15 times to finally get to post just to recieve an error and have everything deleted.

I've played COD since number 1, but 'fanboys' cant open their eyes and see that this is the ONLY series to constantly release broken games with no support.

If you're happy to wait for a patch thats fine, but dont complain that others arent happy about waiting. Besides, the reason i get so frustrated, personally, is because of what is being wasted. Every single COD game (on the next-gen consoles) has the potential to be the best game around, but it is ruined by terrible support or one little feature that breaks the whole game. Everyones concerned with money rather than producing a game they can be proud of.

This is the 3rd time ive had to open up IE after its crashed, re-paste in everything from notepad, to be prompted to sign in 3 times before it crashes again. Jesus christ.

as much as i agree with the op, is it not reasonable that the game should actually work before they release it?
i cant understand in game glitches and weapon balancing, but hard freezing isnt good enough.
    at least their doing something.

Looking for thoughtful PS3 community member who is available to help me with something today. First to @reply who I recognize.

Vahn, who is more into the patches in MP than JD, is playing on the PS3 now with many community members to try and fix all of the connection issues.

I suggest you children develop the virtue of PATIENCE, not only will it help you HERE, but it will help you in real life.

This is better than Robert "Stealth Clown" Bowling, that's for sure.  Who him and his crack-team at IW released a total of what...4 patches?  The last one for MW2 7 months before the game died?

You see that number in the top right corner in the MP main menu?  That's the version number, every time I log in it changes.  That means they are patching the game in little bits along with the big patches.

Also, these patches don't come in 2 days, they take a month of developing, testing, etc.  So they don't release even more buggy circumstances.

    For god's sake...

Well put. And I don't think people realize either that they had no beta, so hence, we are the beta. And when the game is acting funky they are probably fixing server issues. It'll just be a matter of time and Black Ops will be smooth. Though I do have to say I am having audio issues when I render a video. Not sure if it's my end or what. But I'll just wait and see.

    Testing, this is the word.
They should have tested the game before release and not have people play a beta release.
Many of us simply are not playing this game waiting for the issues to be fixed and most of us will never buy a Trayarch game on day one anymore.
    That's all.

I only use Firefox 100% of the time but on these forums, you have to use I.E. or else it won't work.

Actually it is on my employers new website, but whos gonna believe that?

    PS- off topic

Forums are the last place to find patient folks, gaming is also.

Todays generations are so accustomed to fix me now, and thats simply how it is in everything.
