    I think that we have to dump commando, lightweight, marathon, martyrdom, possibly second chance (but it is very useful!), and maybe juggernaut and stopping power.  However if we do that, we have to make the guns kill a tad faster because without stopping power things such as snipers suck real bad.  I also believe that we should bring back overkill.  This would allow people to have to choose between that and stopping power, should it return.  I know that i would probably be using overkill.

    The bayonet was no where near the extent of commando pro.

    Focus on making it the best game it can be. Don't obsess about topping previous games. By all means, tho, include a no perks playlist right from launch.

    Stick with WaW's perk system...you could add a few MW2 perks but stop the pro perk crap and don't make it so noob friendly NO OMA or COMMANDO!

    There ya go.  The perks that I chose to go from WaW are the ones that were rarely equipped (i.e. Shades, Tossback, Fireproof).

    I'm also one that would love to see damage/health increasing perks (i.e. Stopping Power, Juggernaut, Fireworks) take a hike.

    If you still have it, it is well put, and you think a developer would enjoy reading it I implore you to place it on here. Hell I will read it. You never know, you might bring some insight we all might be missing. Better yet you could bolster previously held or currently held community ideals. Plus this is the first few pages I am sure your post would be read.

    As long as there's a variety of fair perks, I'm happy. I don't want people running around with the same perks, however I also don't want people to use unfair and overpowered perks at the same time.

    I think that MW2 got the perk ideas right. There is enough choice there and even still people only use 5 or 6 of the perks available.
    The Pro perks idea is genius and should stay as if you want a perk, instead of just running around with the same set up earning XP and waiting to unlock it at a certain level you can work for it. Although (with the exception of sitrep) they need to be harder to earn IMO.
    Also keep Sitrep. Sitrep is so much better than bomb squad but make it perk one again so that it has less competition.
