Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...In a perfect world, I would like to be able to see my surroundings as fast as I can swivel my head and scan with my eyes. Having my vision and my field of view slaved to the weapon's sights is too slow. Most of my "deaths" are caused by tunnel vision/target fixation. In real carbine/pistol shooting, gun follows eyes. In this game, it is the reverse.
I am 60 years old, and this is my first game since Ms. Pacman. This is a blast!!! Thank you for making it.- Report Abuse

Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...- Higher Frame Rate
- VOIP (Voice Chat)
- DLC to 2GB Wii Card - This will make you $$$$
- More Online Modes = Capture the Flag, CLANS!, anything to match online modes of Gears, Halo, and Socom.
- Bigger online maps with more players....16 this time? Yeah!
Anyway, great game! I have played this game more in two weeks than I have MOH Heroes 2 (which I bought on launch day). I like the online so much I just don't care about the campaign...LOL. Keep up the good work and build off this game, it looks like your main competition will be The Conduit next year so good luck!- Report Abuse

Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...JD the game is great. i love the controls but the only complaint i have is that some of the A.I are not so intelligent and just stand there. but i agree with everyone else that we need CTF, New maps, and if its possible wii speak. thanks

Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...More game mods. First of all, this game is better than I expected, considering the limitations of the console. Great Job, Im enjoying it! But things like lack of CTF and other game mods is inexcusable imo. Also, I would like a higher player count, perhaps 8 is the max that engine can handle in the Wii, but if you manage to increase the player count to 10-12 would be awesome.
Also, the controls are very good imo. It took me some time to get used to them, but once i got them down they felt very good

Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...First of all, the game is awesome on Wii. I love FPS games but am often left out as I no longer care for the other systems' dual analog controls. Forget Metroid Prime 3, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 set the standard for Wii FPS controls. This game comes close but the turning speed should be much faster. I think that's the only thing the IR control is lacking in. While I do without it, some would surely appreciate fully customizable button-mapping. Grenade throwing would've been great as a gesture. I feel cheated on about 90% of melee attacks, but it could just be me. Perks and challenges are great and the friend system good, taking into account Nintendo's insistence on using Friend Codes. Most maps are great (don't care for the Courtyard) and just the right size, though more players would improve some matches. Of course, like everyone else here, I REALLY am hoping for DLC on Wii. Activision does it with Guitar Hero, so I'm hoping you guys will support us on WaW Wii. Nonetheless, you've given us the best online yet in Wii title and we thank you.

Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...Wow, reading through all of this, there are some good things covered.
However I think some things that need to be looked at are match hosting, since you guys made the Online randomly hosted by a player in the match, this sometimes can be a pain for us since we do like to play with people from around the world, what would be great is to implement the option to run a server off of your own PC, I am sure you could do it, but I honestly do not know, this would allow for players to choose which server they want to go to, make it easier for them to meet up with friends, and if you could pick the location(like some PC game servers) then you could place it in an area where it would be friendly for your location and a friends location from around the world.
Another thing would be the Private matches, if you could open them up with your rules and such, for players online to connect to, and not just people on your friends list, it would make for more fun, headshots only would be fun to play, but with a lack of friends you wouldnt get too many onto your private game, thats how making private matches open to to everyone and not just friends would come in.
Also, a notice for when a friend comes online would be great, and instead of the invitation to another game popping up in your face screwing up your game, it would be a much better idea to have a small text notice pop up and then being able to go to the menu and selecting whether or not you would like to join in their match, then also allowing people to see if their friends are in game from the friends list would be great too.
Wii speak is a must, me and one other friend use Xfire to voice chat, and it just adds so much to the experience, it would be a shame to not have that ever.
Hit detection needs to be looked at too, not sure if thats lag or what, but there is many times when I shoot at people and hit air instead of them.
MORE GUNS, MORE PERKS, MORE CHALLENGES.
A way to link your Friend code to this website would be great, more site interaction with the game, oh and also a regularly updated message of the day would be awesome, since seeing the same message everyday makes us feel like we are forgotten.
I dont mind not having Zombie mode or Vehicles, I honestly dont know how Vehicles would fit in any of the maps we have anyways.
a raise on the level cap would be great, with new added perks or guns, so we dont feel like we are doing nothing after we reach level 65, and Prestige uhhhh......, that is a kind of flawed thing to put in there, it is pretty much pointless to do prestige for anything other then bragging rights, I mean 5 more Custom classes does not enhance our game in any way.
A Clan system would be great, allowing you to make a clan, have a specific tag and automatically adding that to their name when they join.
Maybe give us some ways to see who is host of the match and what our connection is before starting the match.
all that aside, this is a great game, and I know there alot of people who cannot get passed the little things, but this game is the best FPS for Wii and you guys should not feel like it is a failure at all.
thats all I can think of for now, but I will be back with more.
P.S. I hope you guys really listen to these ideas, The Conduit is coming soon, you guys are going to have a long road ahead of you to beat it, looking forward to see what you come up with. :P- Report Abuse

same, moh2's gimped weapons made me stop playing it online not long after buying, I've been playing this for hours and hours.
I posted this in another thread about the maps:
"needs more game modes and more maps where both teams have their own bases they spawn in so you can attack and defend. the maps now are a bit too open, I like having a base to defend. make the teams spawn in their own bases, I dont like enemies spawning inside my base, that sucks."- Report Abuse

Currently Being ModeratedRe: Dear Wii Community...I think the control scheme works very well. The best FPS controls so far. Used to prefer PC controls i.e mouse and keyboard but now prefer the wii controls on w@w. Struggling to think how you can improve on them as the only tweak i made was to speed up the turning and left everything else the way it was as standard. I use Either delta or Echo button set up. Cant remember, But it works and only having motion gesture for reload is good as i dont like motion gestures too much, prefer the accuracy of a button. The IR aiming feels very accurate and to be honest if the controls remained like this for the next COD i would be happy.
I beleive the conduit is utilising motion plus? How will this impact on FPS games as surely its the IR sensor that is the main advantage over analogue controls anyway and will motion plus change the IR control??
Agree with someone else who slated the AI in single player, they are daft but then no dafter than any other AI i have ever seen. Not that engrossed in the single player game as i am addicted to online.
My only real gripe is that i would like objective maps or base attack and defence maps and then role reversal in the next round so each team gets a chance to try out both aspects.
SnD as DLC would make a huge impact and transform the game. Even on the same maps it surely wouldnt be too hard to set up SnD as i cant see it requiring any more of the wii's resources.
Can you confirm if DLC is an option?
In closing - great game and great controls.- Report Abuse
