Issues, glitches and a bug

The bug I found was in the mission Men like Gods. After reaching the overlook to see the rooftop with the helicopter you need to take, the next objective was to consume one of the blackwatch on the roof and take the heli. I Stealth consumed one blackwatch, taking his discuise. Then I proceded to stealth consume every other blackwatch on the roof, partly for the healt, and partly because I wasn't sure if they were going to shoot at me when I took off. After I finished, I took the heli to the next checkpoint where a bunch of blackwatch got on and proceeded to the next objective which was "destroy the hive". That's when the bug began, because as soon as I fired on the hive the alert went off. I figured I must have hit a soldier or something so I crashed the heli to fail the mission to restart from checkpoint. I tried again with the same issue. As soon as I fired on the hive the alert went off, which was really irritating because I was trying to do the mission without alerts for the achievement. I restarted from the checkpoint 5 or 6 times before I decided that it wasn't worth the ulcer and tried to destroy the hive. I completely decimated the hive and the building fell apart but the objective wasn't complete, the hive was still targetable and had the red skull icon over it indicating that it needed to be destroyed so I kept firing, and the missles and rockets went right through it. I restarted the mission from the objective again and the same thing happened, so I had to restart the mission from the begining and went straight to the rooftop with the heli, skipping the first checkpoint and was able to complete the mission. I think it all started with me consuming every blackwatch on the roof or if it was a random bug but it was quite frustrating.

Glitches

Not sure if this is an actual glitch or intended but there are certain consume infected events where the infected you need to start the event spawns in the middle of a blue zone by soldiers and as soon as you get near it they kill the infected you need.

A similar thing happens with most web of intrigue targets that spawn in a red zone, infected kill the target before you get close enough to consume it.

Targeting is supposed to target the highest priority when in use but I constantly find it targeting a soldier behind me instead of the tank or helicopter in front of me, which is really annoying if you are in a tank because the turret is slow.

When driving a tank by other tanks the other tanks always fire at me, no matter what my alert status or which way they were facing origionally. I don't know if they are trying to "help" by attacking a harmless infected right next to me with an explosive shell or what, but i constantly find myself having to risk an alert to kill a tank that keeps shooting me. This happens alot when I am on foot in disguise as well.

Tanks magically appearing down the street during alert. This just seems lazy at least spawn them where I can't see them, around a corner or something.

Strike teams appearing as soon as the "Strike Teams Inbound" message appears. I'd like the illusion that they will take longer than 2 seconds to arrive at the location and have some time to get away, but it seems like they magically spawned right on top of me 90% of the time.

Destroying a hive kills off every infected and hunter in the surrounding area for blocks.... Destroying a base makes all of the soldiers disappear and strike teams suppressed for a few minutes, but the tanks are still around every corner.

While sprinting in armor form, grabbing a car or something big is near impossible because it gets knocked out of your own hands.

Air dash is very glitched. I am holding right and go left, left going up, ect.

Some strike teams can see though most objects on a roof, even awnings and parts of roofs itself.

If driving a vehicle for an event, while not in the event, you should destroy a hive or base, most of the time you will find yourself without a vehicle after the cutscene. Or if you leave the vehicle it will disappear if you turn around.

Issues
(These are not glitches, just problems with the game that irritate)

The point to point races are really frustrating because they are availible early, and yet need to have your character fully upgraded to have a chance at finishing with a medal. To attempt a gold medal you need to use air dash, which when fully upgraded will mostly have you overshoot what you are aiming for, or take you a completely different direction than you intended. These "races" have no place in this game, every other event at least makes sense, or seem like they belong. these races were lame in Crackdown and they are lame now. If I wanted to do this activity I would have bought Mirrors Edge, please for the love of all that is holy do not bring this back in Prototype 2. Better yet do bring it back but make it so people who actually want to do it have to download it and have their own seperate achievement.

Fully upgraded sprint takes 30 seconds to reach top speed IF there is nothing in the way?? What is that about???

I still have to mash the Y button when hijacking a tank with fully upgraded muscle mass? And every tim I hijack a tank he does the same stupid fist in hand gesture before he jumps down into the tank, and I still have to wait while the driver is killed to be able control it, meanwhile he is still driving the tank ofer that edge the whole time....

Tank controls are pretty upsetting at times, especially when trying to turn around. The turret moves 360 degrees and yet I can't go forward because the turret is hung up on a corner? Wouldn't it just get turned as I move past? No? Ok guess I gotta back up.... again...

The origional achievement to kill 53,594 in Dead Rising was made because it was the population of the fictional town where it took place, Left 4 Dead added 1 for some reason, and now Prototype has added one to that... When will the madness end? It's like punishing players by making them grind for an achievement like that.

Thousands of Marines, 2 outfits. Thousands of Blackwatch, 2 outfits. Thousands of infected, 6 outfits. Thousands of citizens, 10 outfits....sigh...

Why can't you block in this game? Why can't you jump while holding a hunter or super soldier to use the air attacks like the piledriver on them? Why can't hunters be stopped during one of thier insane combos?

I can understand not being able to glide while in armor, or go top speed or jump as high, but why take away the dodge roll? That gives the hunters a definate advantage when you get stuck in the combo.

Well I feel slightly better to have gotten that off my chest, hopefully the development team will take some of these issues  into cosideration whn making the sequel/prequel. Maybe Hope Idaho has a population of 53,597? Just kidding...

    I actually just posted a similar glitch for the "Men Like Gods" mission in a different thread. I would consume one gaurd and that jack the heli. Then pick up the several Blackwatch soldiers. As soon as i fired on the hive i would get alerted, so i would land the heli, hop out and lose my detection. then hopped back in the heli and pummeled the hive. After the hive was destroyed, it was like you said. the game wasnt registering the hive being destroyed. I think im going to go try and do what you did, and just skip the first objective and go strait for the heli and see if i can complete the mission.
