There will probably be threads about 5-10 different weapons being overpowered, it's always the way lol.

To this day, people still can't decide which weapons in MW2 were overpowered. They fail to realise there were no standout weapon, they were all good.

The UMP45 really wasn't overpowered.. It wasn't the best SMG at close range, it was decent (but not the best) at medium range and assault rifles dominated it at longer range.

For a weapon to be overpowered, doesn't it have to be superior in every situation? The Famas in Black Ops is a good example of a weapon that's superior in every situation, weapon stats don't lie.

Aww Ran you called me out before I could even picked it up. Honestly the Scar is the only weapon I really use in MW2 due to the accurate iron sights. Just like the Galil in Blackops. Clear Irons leave room for another attatchment so why wouldnt you use it? but yet again I use every assault rifle in Blops and Ill prob do the same with MW3 unless I absolutely despise one

It didn't always win in CQC though, all these guns have a faster TTK at close & medium range:

Scar-H, Tar-21, AK47, MP5k, L86, RPD, AUG, PP2000 and I guess you could consider shotguns as well...
