back when that featured got introduced fro the 360 it helped the system because it gave it less info to decompress from the disk due to the lack of memory capability of a DVD with blue ray and ps3 We dont have that problem because the developers dont have to compress tons of files. thats the man reason why we ps3 owners dont have/need that option.

Don't forget SSD drives, flash memory and no moving parts. They are faster, genearte a lot less heat, and last a lot longer. The drive would outlive the PS3 I bet.

exactly ps3 are made to last like a boss lol. I love my slim which i got when the price droped and God of war came out now my consol is soon turning two years old yet it still helping me be a boss playing my favorite genres of games plus a few odd balls

Didn't Microsoft say that they would not publish a game, if the PS3 version was superior, in any way? I think this might fall under that category. Correct me, if I'm wrong, but doesn't the PS3 have superior hardware and capabilities? (I am NOT trying to incite a console war; each console has its strong points).

I'm not entirely sure if being able to install to the hard drive on the PS3 would fall under this category, but the article at the link is still relevant in the bigger picture.

When i had a xbox, they told you to install some games, but to not install some games. Because some games ran better installed. While some did not.
