I could care less if somebody hacks a prestige up, it doesn't give them skill. And MW2 and BO have 0 hacked lobbies now on the xbox, so I don't even see this as an issue.

I agree that 3arch did a good job with the Security Team they put together. I have had my share of problems on the game, got a response back when it was handled. I hope this carries forward inyo MW3.

I agree. with you on the last parts also. Alot that say there shouldn't be harsh steps taken are usually Challenge lobby shumps, that want things the easy way. Or love getting aimbots and all that crap.

They all at one point had 0 hacked lobbies. I dont wan that crap happening again. You're right the hacking a prestige doesn't give you any skill, though I don't want to see myself getting passed by because of illegal ****. Call that childish but, hey, we're playing games as old as we are.

MW2 started off being hacked, it got fixed. Yeah it sucks the older games are hacked, but I don't think it is something worth complaining about. There is only so much they can do, I am surprised by how well BO managed to stop hackers, and MW2 was fixed.

The worth of the complaint is in the pocket of the person with the problem.

MW2 wasn't fixed until much later in its life though, long after many people had become fed up with it (myself included).
To say that complaining about it isn't worth it is absolutely not the answer. You pay $60-100+ for a game and it becomes unplayable (unenjoyable), that is a waste of money. How else does something get fixed? Magic? I can't go into the internet and hand someone a permaban or rewrite the code and fix the Javelin/Care Package/wall hacks.
Many of us use the limited amount of money and time we have on a single multiplayer game and we rely on that game to last us throughout the year. If the game is broken and littered with hackers/modders for months after release, it isn't worth the frustration to keep playing. If my voice isn't being heard by the people maintaining the game there is a serious problem, one that doesn't involve exploits/glitches.
/end rant
That being said, I'm excited for MW3. Hopefully the "internal testing" goes well.

WaW was never enjoyable in the first place, and CoD4 is like 4 years old, you aren't going to get an enjoyable online experience anyway, with the 100 people that play. The campaign is the only reason to play an old call of duty (excluding Mw2 because the sequel isn't out) Games have **** like that happen, the fact that it was fixed is what matters. That's like complaining about WW2 now, it's over. There is no need to waste resources to maintain a game 4 years old.
