PSA:  Please use more dragonfires

Anyone suggest a game mode or something to get the "kill 10 player controlled scorestreaks" with the FHJ-18 launcher?

 

It seems to be pretty slow going and that's all that is standing between me and diamond launchers

 

No one seems to use dragonfires, and when they do people shoot em down with an LMG before I can find it

 

Ive started using a carepackage and throwing it to the enemy but so far no luck..

    good luck with this ach. I was on 6 of 10 for a month. I must have shot at a dozen dragonfires. I would be like one shot to go and my teamate would spray it down. It took me winding up in a lobby with a couple of boosters( checked theater afterwards) to shootdown their vtol and lodestar. Irony?

      my friend had to cheat because he thought he would never get it i told him

      "if i could shoot down a FUDGING QUADROTOR WITH AN RPG THEN YOU CAN SHOOT DOWN A LOADSTAR" i got mine in a day  then came the smaw...OH MY GOD my teamate shot it down in hardcore and i got PISSED i flipped the **** out he was on a killstreak and..well..he ran infront of my sniper and was infront of an enemy i tried to snipe the enemy and well...rages happened

    Play demolition. I was stuck for days trying to complete the fhj (stinger I still call it). The I played demolition and had it done in just a few matches.

      I'll give that shot.  I had fun playing demo during the 2xp weekend on nuketown.

    You could try carrying a blackhat along with the FHJ.  When a lodestar or VTOL goes up, blackhat it first, then shoot your two rockets at it.  Hopefully a teammate doesn't take it down before you can.

        If you blackhat a sentry gun or guardian, it is destroyed.  If you blackhat a stealth chopper it is just like you had shot a rocket at it.  You then only need one rocket to take it down instead of two.

         

        If you blackhat a lodestar or VTOL, you then only need two rockets to take them down instead of 3.  So if you carry two blackhats and an FHJ, there's a very good chance you'll take them down more easily.  Just make sure to use the black hat(s) FIRST, then take it down with the rocket.

    AGRs and Sentry guns also count for this challenge as I recall.

      It should, but they have to be under user control at the time you destroy it. I always let them do their own thing. Never found a PUG that is gonna watch your back while you work towards that next kill streak. Heck in HC they will shoot any scorestreak they see, enemy or friendly.

    I just finished this. It took awhile. I always run  with a laucher because I like to shoot down uav/cuav and stuff like that. Sometimes that +75 pts from a blackout is all I need to get my next scorestreak.

     

    I got my last one from shooting down this guys lodestar. Nothing like a good ol uppercut. lol

      Grief, your wish may be the game's command... after a double XP weekend I am sure a lot of people will be prestiging and forced to play with the default scoretreaks for a bit, including the Dragonfire.
