I dont bail unless its totally lagging. Then its pointless to stay and sometimes the lag progresses to a total freeze and Im dumped back to the menu(WTF?) and Activision is going to count that against me? Well pardon me if I call bullsh*t. Their lagging servers or built in latency shouldnt have ANY bearing on me or anyone else. And if some poor schmuck is 2-15 four minutes into a match I say go AWAY. Leave lol, I dont want you on my team bringing down the rest of us. But by the same token I dont think they should be put on "probation". That sounds good in theory but if what many of you that claim to have been put on probation are saying is true? Then its application is severly lacking. I thought all this "probation" nonsense was done away with anyway? A quick google search comes back with several stories about this being done away with back on 12-12-12 or 12-13-12. In any event its a foolish idea that will drive good, honest players away. If I get "probation" I may be one it drives away. You couple this goofiness with the litany of issues this game has and probabtion would be the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back.
On a side note Ive been getting the "Black Ops 2 servers are unavailable at this time" msg for about 5 hrs now. On the off chance it connects I get booted from the game less than a minute into a match. WTF is this about? And no I dont have a msg saying Im on probation and Ive been booted due to that "server error" about a dozen times now. This friggin game has more holes in than a homeless mans sock and Im on the cusp of giving up on it completely.
overall i think the concept of probation is a good thing........i have got 3 since they implemented the bans...1 i deserved the other two i would dispute if it was something worth disputing
instead of Putting on probation for leaving a game.......why not just simply remove the option of leaving a game ....take away the option and the only options left would be to quit the game or turn off the system from the XMB
