How do I apply for a clan on elite?

He says go to 'search' ....but it says find players. Not search, second. To do this do I need to connect my XBOX LIVE account to ELITE? I don't have a clue..... but if anyone could help. Please do and thanks. I've set up an account on CallOfDuty.com which is here, which means I must have done it for Elite also? How do I apply to a clan anyways?

Elite PC ver ? If Yes You have to go settings-->profile (setings are near ,,find players" and than you have ,,link my acount" to ps3 of xbox
