New gamemode idea: Catch me if you can

Everyone starts with knife only and no perks, a smoke grenade and two flashbangs except for one player, the one player starts with a pistol and a crossbow, lightweight, fast hands, extreme condition and dead silence, equipement is throwing tomhawk and two sensor grenades.

 

This is how it works: the players with the knife only have to run away from the player with the pistol and they get points for surviving every time someone gets catched similar to infected. Once a person is getting catched then he will become the guy with the pistol and the other player become one of the knife only players.

 

The goal of the mode is to hide and run away from the player with the pistol, once the time is up, the player with the most score will win the match. Always on radar is deactivated.

    Running away?

     

    Have the connections got so bad in this game that we need a game based around running away and hiding?

     

    Not a game mode id be rushing to play.

     

    I want to shoot people, if i can, not play hide and seek.

    Me and my friends were playing something similar in a Private game last night.

     

    We have someone who is 'on'. They get a Ballistic Knife, Throwing Axe, Lightweight and Scavenger

     

    Then we have the 'Hiders'. Knife only, Lightweight and Extreme Conditioning.

     

    The aim of the game is to survive from the hunter, but you are allowed to kill him whent here is one minute left, or you are the last one left. The winner is the hunter or the guy who kills him.

    Or, how about instead of new gamemodes, they fix the problems this game has.

    Have you been playing the Crysis 3 demo by chance?  This was my tactic as a CELL trooper and I picked off a few Hunters in the process.

      Yes, Hunter mode in Crysis is different, when a Hunter kills one of the other guys then he becomes a Hunter and the killer stays Hunter.

    Screw the haters above.  Good ideas are good ideas.  People can CHOOSE not to play any of the game modes.

    Although I do agree with the comment of fixing the problems first. The game got worse after DLC.

     

    Additions:

    -Bonus points for not getting shot at all at half time and end of round.  Perhaps at halftime you earn a special perk as well.

    -Game has 3 rounds

    -Bonus points if knife wielder kills hunter

    Knife, no perks a smoke and two flashes vs pistol, crossbow, perks and Thawk & sensor? Yea thats balanced.

    Interesting idea kudos for coming up with something "new". Question, what does the one dude who has the pistol get out of it?

      Thats the whole point behind the run away from the hunter, no one wants to be him and the hunter doesn't wants to be the hunter either so he has to catch one of the knifers to get rid of his curse.

       

      Of course its balanced, the players with the knife only have to run away from him, it would be unfair if you have 8 vs 1 and everyone has a assault rifle, have you ever played Infected in MW3?
