World at War and Black Ops 1 Zombies - Do People Still Play?

Well, I've been enjoying zombies and all, but they do get quite boring. I've been thinking about getting W@W and BO1 for the zombies (not the multiplayer, or at least not yet). How many players are on usually? How many are in the original maps compared to the DLC maps? Which is a better game when it comes to zombies? Thanks, hope someone can help me out on this one, don't wanna end up playing all by myself.
