Yes sure, but you can reduce it to a point where its barely noticeable. I did not see that much ragequiters in CoD4, MW2 and not even in BO1 as much as in BO2. In BO2 every lobby has at least 10 rage quiters.
If I see an opposition team with the same clan tag in matchmaking on the opposition team I back out before the match beings. Its pointless to even trying to play an organised team MOST of the time. Sometimes you get rubbish teams but its an exception really.
I 'ragequit' nearly every second game on BO2 due to poor connection. Getting beat by better players or because matchmaking has failed to balance the teams never bothers me but life is too short for Time Travel Pro.
Yes, a clan or party wins 9/10 times the match, you can be the best player in the world but when you play with random team mates who aren't even that good and ragequit as soon they can not handle the enemy they leave and then its you alone vs a organized team.
you can spawn trap in any team game....if the team works together to sit a bit behind half way on the map so the spawn does not flip it is easy to spawn trap. In terms of KC, all they need is a dedicated tag runner to get the points.
Thats not spawn trapping in my opinion, its playing smart and can easily be countered with smoke grenades and MMS attachements, flashbangs and all the good stuff, if a team can not break out of it then its their own fault.
Spawn trapping to me is when you aim at the exact position where the enemy spawns and he has no chance of fighting back.
Stand Off for example is so easy to break out with smoke grenades, i personally had never the problem of being trapped in and CoD. I don't play Demolition.
Ragequitting has a domino effect. If people stop ragequitting, people stop joining losing games.
If you don't finish a game, your deaths and a loss should be saved.
I find the opposit I wish so so so much that people on my team would just rage quit when they are just letting the team down! It's like the counter all my hard work and effort I play hard get loads of kills hardly any deaths and then the bottom 3 people on my team have all got under 10 kills and 20+ deaths it's so stressfull!
lag is defo more of a problem.
I never use to range quite at least not in any of the cod games that I stuck with playing.
Somes I would play 3 or 4 games with the same lobby losing every game at that point I could take my hat off to the better players and leave the lobby.
In this game, I don't care about my stats, I don't care about who I am playing. When I start a game and I get instakilled, or I feel my character is running like he has bricks tied to his feet, then I know I am going to have a problem (lag/lagcomp... whatever you want to call it). If I stayed in could I win the game, I would say 65 - 75% chance I still could, but I am tiered of trying to win against lag as opposed to trying to win against other players. I just can't be arsed to stay.
I don't know if it counts as rage quiting, it's not like I am actually ranging. I mean I am not like mad or anything. I just think, here comes the lag, next lobby...
I can't speak for everyone else but when this game launched the first two weeks I didn't have any real problem with the delay so I had no reason to leave games.
