For ELITE - Thanks on a great Double XP weekend

The weekend of Double XP brought our clan members an opportunity to game longer in matches they normally don't play, enjoying some ranking up!  The focus for our clan members, also, was how to use the Weapon Camo/Attachment/Prestige functions to their advantage, racking up some glorious XP that doubled!  We had some die-hard Level 55 non-prestige players jump the fence and Prestige.  Couldn't do this without the Double XP.   

 

These folks enjoy a good game of BO2.  They have their preferences and have fun.  The weekend allowed them to step out of their normal playing styles and explore more of BO2.

 

Despite issues that have the posts in this forum go way negative and bleak, the weekend broughth some smiles to gamers.  Looking forward to the next Double XP weekend and it's effect on our clan members!

    I don't have the links but several sources are pointing to another Double XP weekend.

      Its double weapon xp on xbox (not sure if its all platforms) this weekend, next regular double xp weekend will be the end of next month.

          Double weapon xp - see Xbox's message of the day (As of yesterday that was only showing on xbox so "could" be only for xbox)

           

          Next normal double xp weekend - end of next month when PS3 gets the map pack.

            Double XP is the least they can do. How about focus on the many issues and problems we are still having with this game. No thanks to Treyarch from me. Still dealing with system freezes, party play is a nightmare, and lag is beyond any other game I ever played. Take your double xp Treyarch and fix this game instead.

                I'm pretty sure he was talking about Double XP and how he personally would rather they fix their issues than focus on giving Double XP.

                  Just a shame that most of the threads on this forum, no matter what they're about, end up with "treyarch sucks, fix the lag" ect comments.

                   

                  Like this thread, a very rare positive one where someones not complaining, that will end up with the usual/boring "fix yo crap" style verbal shite thats in every other section.

                    Sorry but I can't ever nor will ever see positive with a multi million dollar company that would rather mask it's issues by giving out Double xp instead of fixing it's problems.

                eko - I'm all for Double XP if they add it. More power to them.

                 

                These forums (particularly the Elite one) are littered with complaints and confusion because Elite is that buggy. Do I want to complain about this game? No, I'd rather enjoy playing it and be able to rest assured that the stats are going to be awarded, and the that awards/stats are going to be accurate. But instead, we are stuck with an extremely bad system.  People come onto these forums to try to find a fix to their issues. We try to help. Activision and companies are not doing that. They aren't coming to the forums to help. They don't communicate. We don't have a good medium in which to submit and talk about issues aside from these forums.

                 

                The reason there are so many complainers is because there are so many issues. Fix a lot of the issues and it wouldn't be as bad. Sure people will always find things to be upset about, but right now there is more to be frustrated about than there is to be happy about (again...I'm primarily speaking about Elite since this is the Elite Forum).

                 

                mwfan55, myself, and many others are not here to constantly complain, we are here to try and help others with their issues, to try and find solutions to our own problems, and to help bring these issues to the attention of Activision and companies.

                  Life, the complainers have had their posts and their concerns noted.  Repeating the same problem over and over to degrade a postiive post is outside of a complaint.  It is wanton immaturity.  Helping others is not crying and whining how bad something is after already crying and whining previously.  Especially in a forum where action will not be taken from, and affect is nil.

                   

                  There is a hall of fame for these guys, and they are not adding to the game, only to their name. 

                   

                  I don't read the rants/wails/whines after I identify a negative topic.  Thanks for reading this one.

                   

                  This post was not about an issue, but about Double XP reference.  Thanks, eko, for the reference.  I was wearing my fingers to the bone (and had to get a new mouse) trying to find substantiation!

                    Seriously man? A positive post? What's so positive about double xp? Nothing, it is the norm, they have provided double xp on DLC release for the past few games. All they are doing is promoting the sale of their maps and for that we have to celebrate and clap our hands? Sorry Tinman, but there is nothing positive about a game that has not been fixed. I can't have a full lobby to play the clan operations because Treyarch hasn't fixed the party problem. etc.

                  I, for one, am of Irish descent and will complain about everything going RIGHT. But in this case, ELITE has volumes of things to fix (and for us to complain about). Anyone who feels that we're out of line by complaining should simply take another Ritalin and continue to be a hypnotized zombie through their life.
