Not one map....

Would make it on my top 5 list from this game.... not even my top 10....I can't think of 10 map names right now...

 

1.Crash

2.Ambush

3.Dome

4.Shipment

5.Bog

    they should add a new shipment map in a DLC. you want CQC? there ya go lol.

    Standoff is not bad but nothing beats Overgrown.

    I would have to say that Overflow is a good map. Lots of avenues for objective play.

    I am a HCTDM player 99% of the time and here are my favorites from the Black Ops series

     

    Black Ops 2 maps (favorites)

     

    1. Slums

    2. Hijacked

    3. Raid

    4. Overflow

    5. Yemen

     

    Black Ops 2 maps (least favorites)

     

    1. DRONE

    2. Express

    3. Cargo

    4. Meltdown

    5. Standoff

     

    The map Carrier can fit in both these lists as if you get the GOOD spawn (helicopter) then it is a great map, if you get the other spawn it is really bad.

    5. Jungle

      My black ops list is totally different from yours lol.

      Best:  Summit, Havanna, Kowloon, Nuketown, Firing Range, Grid, WMD, Stadium.

       

      Worst: Array, jungle, hanoi, all the other map pack maps....

    I like all of them actually except Aftermath and Carrier is only ok. Those maps are just WAY to cluttered for my taste.

    Agreed.

     

    Bar Overflow and Yemen, all are below par - in how they play and aesthetically (in my opinion). I think I'm done trying to enjoy this game. I've gone  back to MW3.

      Drone...god it's so bad... I can see what they tried to do... but it's just terrible.

      Yes aftermath has some similarities to it...but lets not kid ourselves. Aftermath even in its craptastic glory has not even an ounce of the Terrible wrath of THAT MAP. In fact...that map should never again be discussed or even pondered in any CoD ever again.

    Raid is my favorite, by far. Nuketown is a close second.

     

    I detest, absolutely detest Turbine, Meltdown and Drone. I feel like these maps are just either too specifically oriented, or poorly laid out (ie, no good sitelines, no good protection, too many ambush points.)

     

    Rounding out my top three would be Express, always a good game for me there, win or lose.

    What really makes me mad/sad about the maps in this game is how many I hate.  In past call of duty games (especially cod4-mw2) there were usually only 2 maps I didn't like.  Now it's 5...possibly 6.

        10. Slums - Actually a pretty decent map

        9. Array - Snipers heaven

        8. Crash - First level i ever played! Cod4 version

        7. Nuketown - Fun

        6. Firing Range - Brilliant balanced map

        5. Standoff - My favourite map of black ops 2

        4. Cliffside - Original snipers heaven

        3. Terminal - Remember getting a chopper gunner on this? EPIC! MW2 version

        2. Stadium - Perfect 10/10

        1. Summit - Don't know why i liked summit so much,but it just stand out as my favourite ever map!

         

         

        MW3 gets no votes from me because it was shite in every single way! I would rather play cod on a sonic level than go back to them crappy maps!

                What's wrong with Slums? It's a good old fashioned map,left,right and central. Simplicity can be brilliant aswell. Nuketown is just get a killstreak,die,spawn get a kill run 2 metres get shot in the back. Repeat!

                  I like the design on nuke town....it gave the impression Treyarch was willing to be out a fresh bolder thinking company....then we got black ops 2....a clone of mw3

                    You lost me completely when you said bo2 is a clone of mw3!!! Black ops 2 is revolutionary.

                    Really? MW3 was abysmal in every way,and that was a copy of mw2. Maps were shite,weapons were op and killstreaks were stupid.

                    I'm going now,i've lost interest.lol. Just my opinion

                      BO2 is more a clone of MW3 than a sequile (spelled wrong) to Black ops one....it seems like to me at least.

            sorry i gave a few boards i liked buddy. didnt know there was strict criteria.  Those were 3 boards that are at the top of my list as far as fun factor. which is why i wrote them. I forgot how people on the forums are so argumentative and uptight.

              But those are terrible maps if they are your fav's....but thats your opinion....at least rust is I can't remember the rest....except highrise which was Ok....

    I'll just assume you mean Dome from WAW, which means you think there hasn't been a good map in the last 4 CODs...which is almost true. BO1 had some great maps. MW3, MW2, BO2 all have terrible launch maps.

    Treyarch should hold a voting Poll for for BO1 and WaW on which 5 maps to bring back from the previous cods for BO2.

    No love for Cargo? Damn, I absolutely love that map. Slums is ok, I've really come round to Yemen recently. I *hate* Overflow though, bleugh.

     

    Bring back Firing Range, Summit and/or Jungle from Blops 1 and I'll be a very happy man.

    yeah i keep trying to tell myself that these maps are all just as good, but im coming to figure it out that they just are not.  i hate to be that guy who constantly tells everyone that cod4 was the end all of call of duty games because it was near perfect.........  but the maps just dont hold up like they did in cod4.  BO had some really good maps, and off the top of my head, I cant think of any that a truly hated.  but in BO2 i truly HATE carrier and turbine. and its not that newer CODs havent been good, theyve just they tried to do too much with it, when cod4 was probly the best FPS of this generation hands down.
