This feel the same as BO.  I ran around in BO with the AK74u and could go 50-1 in CTF.  In BO2, I can run around with the MSMC and can go 50-1 in CTF.  This game plays exactly the same as BO, but it doesn't catter drastically to campers anymore.

Apart from insane lag and rubbish hit detection the maps are purely designed for this hash n bash style. There is no map where an smg rng needs too break cover and run over open ground. Snipers are reduced to quickscoping or popping shots at each other from windows. Even the larger maps are scattered with head glitches and random clutter taking any medium to long range encounters right out of the equation.

Funny... your comment makes just as much sense as his.

Congradulations for having a good game in both BO and BO2. what the hell does that prove? the ak74u was an assalt rifle in BO so that means nothing aswell.  The fact is that this game caters to SMGs and you do not want to believe it becasue then you would realize your not as good as you think you are. You can not have 2x more SMG kills in this game and think the ARs are better. its ignorant to think otherwise

Exactly right. SMG rules because of the way the maps are designed.

QS'ing has to be easier in this game because these maps are too small with no open lines of sight for sniping like we saw in BO.

The weapon doesn't define the player.  I am good not because of what I use, but how I play.

You can be just another SMG sheep or you can use something different and then when you have success you feel that you beat the enemy even when the odds were stacked against you.

I dislike the run and gun nature of this game and refuse to follow the masses so I use an LMG 99% of the time, I only play TDM  too which makes using an LMG make even less sense but still do reasonably well.  I would argue I have far more fun than the point and squirt boys who seem to spend more time reloading than they do actually shooting bullets.

AN SMG is definitely the easiest option but you don't have to use one to win.
