    My experience too. I have always been a decent COD player. In this flavor I have 20k kills with a 1.67 k/d.

     

    What has changed though is that I will have a few middling games (playing to k/d), followed by several absolutely horrid games (FAR below break even) balanced out by several god mode games.

     

    Everything evens out but the swings are crazy- I had a .25 round the other night. Not that I am great but I never go that deep.

     

    P.S. and yes, IMHO it's connection related. I literally walked up behind a guy on Hijack looking down the ladder by the stern spawn. Shot and started to turn as he should have dropped. He was still standing, oblivous (this from 3 virtual feet). Shot again. Nothing. I thought I had teams confused. He turned, started shooting me and I dropped him with a third round. Frustrating. Not my aim either. Forgot to mention.. this with an 870.

    I have an above average connection, and I have had no problems with connection.  If I had a fibre optic connection, I would most likely still have no problems.

    Considering the average conection is not good, then I can safely guess that your connection isnt very good.  I have 25 meg upload and can feel the lag and the jerky gameplay.  An average upload is probably 1.5 megs.  So to say your above average is sneaky.....

    There is minimal skills to this game, but I don't know if it's rigged by the developers.

     

    However, for the most part I think the game is decided by one thing. Who has "lagvantage"? If you have the benifit of lag you become a god, if you don't you suck. I don't have many game where the game feels even.

     

    Some games, I'm 1 sec ahead of everyone, most games I'm 1 sec behind everyone, and some games I'm ahead of some people and behind others......but rarely does it ever feel that I'm "even" with everyone.

    I can tell you 100% w/o a doubt, with full green bars and host I personally cannot buy a kill. I have one account MP w/ a 1.6~ kd and this acc @ 1.01 but I afk a lot. Now I wouldnt say theres anything equalizing the game really, but the connections are NOT good at all. The first few days were much better connection wise, now w/ 2x the people I see more yellow bars than green its bad.

    your bandwidth means diddly squat... xbox sets those limits and they are virtually nothing in this day and age..

     

    your latency is what matters... and thats usually crap for alot of people that buy their connection off resellers, use highly saturated city networks, or even worse.... play off their unlimited 3g/4g connections that have great bandwidth but horrible 3 digit latancy (ping)

    Note: I just moved to Baltimore this year from Cincinatti and haven't noticed any difference.  I had a 22ms ping 200+ miles, 75D/15U in Cinci.

    It just takes one search on youtube. There are literally thousands of videos showing the same thing.
