Opinons on Assault Rifles. What do you think is the best and worst Assault Rifle?

What do you think is the best and worse Assault Rifle? I cant decide.

Whats your opinon on the Scar-H? Sometimes I think its one of the best then other times its abysmal its so inconsistant.

I love the type 25 silenced and the AN-94 sometimes again can be one of the best but then sometimes sucks.

I also cant decide which is better the SWAT or M8A1..

    Best = FAL

    second best = Swat

     

    Worst = prob the scar

    I think the M27 is the best overall.  My least favorite is the Scar.  It just feels weird compared to the others.

     

    Edit: Changed Type 25 to M27. Got the names mixed up.

    I like them all to be honest, every one feels different and thats a good thing.

     

    My favorites are

     

    SCAR-H, AN-94, SMR, FAL.

     

    My least favorites are

     

    MTAR, TYPE25

    scar and fal are probably the worst.

     

    SMR & m8 are awesome.

    i think it depends on your play style.

     

    personally I have always been an AR man and I always enjoyed using the burst or semi-auto weapons.

     

    my best AR is the M8A1.

     

    Throw the laser dot on it to take out most smgs at close range. If you really want to throw them off, use the stock along with lightweight.

     

    also love the smr, but against people when the game is lagging it can be hard to get the kills.

    My Fav's: SWAT, M27, SCAR

     

    Not so much: MTAR, Type 25, FAL, AN.

     

     

    I'm more of an LMG / Sniper kind of guy so most of the AR's I haven't given enough of a chance to really critique them. I know that it bothers me when someone doesn't unlock every option on a gun (Gets to level 5-7) and says "This gun is crap!" Uh, did you try it with different attachments? Perks, on different maps while playing different objectives?

     

    In the end - To each, their own. I'm just happy we have so many options.

     

    [edited]: P.S. I have been killed by more AR's than SMG's. I'm not sure why people say SMG's are overused. The AR's just have that stopping power with fewer rounds.

    My personal go to when nothing else seems to be working is the type 25. They are all good in their own right, but the type works the best for me.
