Should a innactive clan remain a clan

So my clan DeaDxKlan wants the clan tag DxK but there is a innactive clan that is just named DxK with the clan tag DxK and we would like to have it but sadly they are not responding to our messages. do you think there should be a way that teir clan can be taken down because they dont even do any clan ops or challenges

    Hi DeaDxDeadly,

    i had a similar problem with my clan, we were always UKT but due to it being taken had to use UKTa. Unfortunetly i dont think anybody on elite can just remove a clan, but it is ridiculous how many there are out there not participating or been abandoned. Perhaps Elite can arrange a system 'clean up' where they require a response from all clans active and delete those with nil response after a certain time limit? I think for now you'll have to settle for something a little different.

    I did alot of reading about this when my clan first got started on MW3.  I talked to tech support and was told that once you enter a "gold clan tag", it can NEVER be used again.  It can't be transfered, ect.  Sounds kind of silly to me, b/c if you change clan tags and decide to go back to an old one, from what I got from the tech, you can't.
