If all goes according to plan there will be a new sub-forum here shortly. It will be specifically for those who want to find others to play with.

 

    • This forum is not a place to advertise any clans.
      • Zombie Clan activity is to remain in the clan sub-forum.
    • This forum is both for users who have high standards and those who don't.
    • You may ask others to perform the EE with you there.

 

This sub-forum will remain for general discussion of Zombies and Zombie Theories.

 

    • Support for Zombies should be directed to Customer Support instead of being crowd-sourced.
      • You will not be penalized for asking here, but it's better to get answers from those who can both document issues and aid you in real time.
    • Fan-fiction is still discouraged. Those who create it tend to go overboard on the creation and conflict arises amongst them regarding original creation of content.
    • Moderators still maintain the stance that we are not responsible for validation or invalidation of suggested and theorized content. It's simply not our place.

 

Our goal is to eliminate some of the clutter. Additional sub-forums may be created, but in the mean time this is what has been agreed upon at the ready. Asking for and pleading for additional sub-forums will not be met with expedited results.

    i like it, but the only part i don't like is the zombie only clans still being forced into the clan section which is filed with multiplayer clans. the problem with that is that nobody that plays zombies ever goes near the clan section, so nobody would see it. do you know what i mean?

      Yes, but the Zombie clans in the past have aggressively inffluenced their thread to the top of the sub-forums and created conflict amongst other clans. Repercussions that have lasted till this day. I might consider creating a sticky thread with a list of clans.

        okay, well all i'm asking for is that you please make a seperate section for zombie clans. i'm sure a lot of people would agree.

        yea i agree ive posted on the clan forum for zombie players to join my clan and havent heard anything in the couple posts i have put up i know i may not have tried hard enough but in at least 2 posts with 0 replies i just think it would b very helpful for more people but this is a good start

    This is announcement thread. Not a "I'm going to complain about the status of my clan and possibly recruit here too" thread.

    Thank you for the update.

     

    I would like to request some information on how decisions such as adding subforums are arrived at.

    Is there a formal way in which forum moderators/website developers make changes to the forum? Do these changes have to be go through channels at Treyarch and/or Activision? Are their regularly scheduled meetings among the forum moderators/web developers to discuss changes/additions to the forums; particularly, at these meetings are concerns from the members posting discussed?

     

    Formally, how is the hierarchy of this department set up? And what is the procedure for making additions/changes to the Black Ops II forum layout? Lastly, who is the point of contact for issues with the Black Ops II forums?

    I agree with DrDeath.

     

    What if we are an easter egg clan?  I'm guessing that's a loophole. 

     

    "Our goal is to eliminate some of the clutter" --What is considered "clutter"?  Seems like you're just moving "clutter" around instead and spreading it.  How about a "sub forum" for the guys who offer free football webcasts all the time too?

     

    All I read in the first post was a bunch of "you can't do this, you can't do that". What's the point of moving to limit what good users can do when you can't even keep the real "clutter" out?

    It would be good to see a section dedicated to tranzit only. It is hard enough to see what people have posted about the ee and other tranzit findings without having to sift through the copious amouts of die rise threads and other garbage. It would also stop a lot of threads getting buried by these posts. Im not saying that people shouldn't be posting anything apart from ee related stuff, some of it is actually interesting. I'm just saying it would be nice to go into the forum, click on tranzit, and only see things related to that game mode.

    What happened to the old space where you could go through all the pages of zombie space content? Now all I have is featured content and recent content, and the recent content only shows the 50 most recent posts... The link to get to the zombies space shows 10,000+ zombies related discussions yet I can only see 50. Is there a better way than just browsing through ALL forums on this website? If other people are having the same problems that I am that would explain a lot of the repetitive, redundant posts.

    BUMP! I will be bumping this to the top of forums every 2 hours or so. I personally agree that Looking-For-Group thread should go to that sub forum. Now, foxhound, I've read some of the comments about the zombies clans, would clans be ok to post their stuff in new Sub forum for basically Looking-for-Group threads?
