Sony to make new controller for Playstation 4!

Sony  will most likely make a new controller for the playstation 4. The new controller will look like the ps vita and will also adopt many features the PS Vita has. Like the touch screen on the back and a LCD screen

 

i am not sure i wan't a playstation 4 any more after hearing this, what kept me on PS3 was the controller what is your opinion?

    Seems a little premature to base your opinion of a gaming onsole on the design of the controller.

     

    Give them a chance to swim before burning the lifevest...just my opinion.

    Not to reign on your parade, but several images of "New PS4 controller" have popped up over the last couple years. Don't believe anything unless Sony themselves are releasing the info

    They wont change anything.  Why mess with perfection?  I see no need to mess with a winning formula of a controller.  Youve seen what the touchscreen controller has done for wii U... basically ruined the only thing it had working for it when it was just the Wii... accessability.

      used it, it feels like a wide xbox controler. wieghts the same as normal controlers, and feels like a normal controler.

    I hear so much about Xbox being better then PS3 on graphics and gameplay let along the first to get the DLC. But the controller suck.I start with the PS, then 2 then 3 and I will get the 4 if they leave the controller along.

    sony filed for a patten on their controler. the touchscreen wiiU ripoff is much less likly because of it unless its a attachment.  the additions of the PS move may be somewhat more usefull but it should keep the normal controler feel.

     

    the controler design is supposed to seperate into 2 seperate controlers, but able to be put back together and should play like a normal controler. unless the omni/PS4 screwes that up.

    Sony HAS NOT let anything out of the bag concerning hard factual proof of anything related to the PS4 including the accessories.

     

    The PS4 is still in the concept phase and game developers, especially the ones working directly with SONY, WILL NOT release such information without an official word from Sony reps.  This is just a stupid thread on a website to get the pot stirred on everyone's curiousity as to what's next...

     

    and i assure you, with Microsoft leading the race right now, SONY is sure to keep all secrets to themselves.

    On the 3rd link you need to go down the page a bit till you see the 2 white controllers.

    I'm not saying the whole image is faked, but the black number four is definitely edited in.

    IGN just released a story about an hour ago. They've heard that the Dual Shock controller will be retiring as well but also makes it clear that Sony has not said anything related to the topic
