Windows failed to start. PC help?
Posted by MicroPiiig on Jan 13, 2013 8:33 AM
Hey guys I turned my PC on earlier and it doesn't boot properly , instead I get this; "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer (I don't have one of these) Choose your language settings and then click next Click "repair your computer" File: /windows/system32/config/system Status: 0xc000014c Info: windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt" Any advice on this issue? My keyboard won't work at all on this menu and I don't seem to be able to navigate it or anything. I really don't know a great deal about computers so if you have any questions feel to ask but I'm not sure how helpful I can be. Thanks for any help
