CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME THIS?  the code on the top right changes my gameplay

i know it for sure whenever they change the code on top right on main menu of multiplay the gameplay changes for me.

 

23.441.18 was garbage for me

23.443.18 was good

23.444.18 was good

23.445.19 now the game is unplayable again.

 

people say it has nothing to do with it but since i check my gameplay with the code changes. my game experience is greatly differend.

 

can someone explain me why?

      well i know how good i am and how my shotgun worked for 4 weeks. now i only get hitmarkers because on the replay i shoot absolutly behind a guy.

       

      but hey noobs like you dont experience difference in lagg because you end up negative like always. so no problem for u indeed.

        lol you got me. First off the only noob here is you. The fact that you take the kill cam as actual evidence just proves it. I like how its ALWAYS the games fault with you people, never your own terrible aiming

    I thought it was becuase of a hotfix.. should at least let us know what was done.. maybe im wrong. Meh

    I assume this is because of incremental changes to the matchmaking and/or lag comp.

     

    It is noticeable to anyone who is not a corner dweller that some updates the game feels a little better, and others break it.

    The "code" you're talking about is the version number and it shouldn't mess with your gameplay.

      what you just sayd is like : if your house collapses and the guy who builded it tells you: oh lol it shouldnt! and walks away like there is no problem.

      Pooklove, you obviously know nothing about software versioning.  Whenever a number changes, something in the code changed.  The code may or may not have had anything to do with lag/matchmaking (unless someone has a valid source saying so), but it does mean something changed.

       

      I pretty much suck (about a 1.0KD, 250 SPM, almost 10th prestige -- I play a LOT) and even I notice a change in game play when an update comes across.  A few weeks ago I was playing very well, going well positive in almost every match.  An update occurred, kicked everyone out to the lobby, and for a day or two after that I was getting owned by EVERYONE.  Going positive would take a miracle.  Another update later and it seemed to relax a bit back to "normal" where I could go positive when I played well enough not to get stomped on.

    The numbers are hotfixes from what i understand.

     

    i was playing earlier today and stopped after 3 games because of the lagcomp/smoothing code delay issue.

     

    most games my kd was about 1.6+ or 1.4 etc etc..

     

    just played my first game after the update and went 37 to 1.  ok it was only one game, but I could feel the difference straight away.

     

    If i had to take a wild guess, I have a feeling that the people who seemed to not have much problem  on 444.18 my start to see more lag crap.  it's only a guess..

     

    anyway, i am going to keep playing and will update again after some more games.

    Well hopefully the OP wont jump on my case since I didnt give him a hug with my post.

     

    Welcome to the world of game updates where some updates will hurt some and help others. You arent the only one who plays this game. the developers are trying their best to make fixes for the game that will help EVERYONE and not just yourself.

     

    If its not it could be that thing you call "the intenet".

     

    As for he fact that you arent getting hitmarkers sometimes mean that thing you got in you house called a "network" might not be working as well or the fact that sometimes your "internet" isnt working as well as it should.

     

    Sometimes it not just the game.

      uhm mate i have a 80mb up and 8 down internet with cable not even wireless as i sayd my gameplay changes everytime they do a hotfix. but ur explanation on how updates hurt some people and makes improvents for other people seems to be acceptable if i was playing on a pc. i mean we all have the same  xbox and the same updates how can some update only hurt a particular group?

      thats total bullshit. I HATE EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM.

          of course i dont know ****. thats why i asked that question. im not here to take a test from you and give you a report on how you did. im past 90 now its not my duty anymore. because i dont care what you guys do to the world im dead soon.

    Updates, even the ones that don't have to do with lag fixes, will affect your gameplay temporarily simply because the first tier of a matchmaking search is to look for people that have the same version as you do.  When an update first comes out that pool of people is very small.  I've seen it go both ways for me but the odds of the only people available to play with being a bad matchup for you is pretty high directly after an update.  Usually within 24 to 48 hours the pool is large enough for things to get back to normal unless the update is at the beginning of the week.

    I noticed it updated to 19 the yesterday.  Things have been better since 18 for me....unless Im hosting and it all goes out the window

      well its 20 now i logged in hour ago and my gameplay seems better. but still not enough i hope they do another one soon. black ops 2 is my fav game atm
