Target finder and grip maybe. Probably not the best but its what I use.
You as for the best setup, but take away the best attachment. lol. Anyways, if you don't want select fire, I'd go with Reflex, Quickdraw, Stock w/ Lightweight Cold Blooded Dexterity and Extreme Conditioning, perks can be adjusted to your play style, i just like running around, haha.

What is the problem with select fire?
I found in using the FAL that SF, Laser Sight, and either silencer or FMJ worked well for me.
I typically run Blind Eye, Cold-Blooded, and Engineer or Engineer+Dexterity.
The Laser sight helps tremendously in CQB situations, which you are bound to lose against faster weapons if you don't have this equipped.
i just prefer to use my finger, i have a ton of autos if i want to use an auto
FAL iron sights are the best AR sights in my opinion. I like quickdraw and FMJ on my FAL.
Hardline
Scavenger
Dexterity + Engineer
Perk 3 greed
Betty
EMP
i loved the fal iron sight in BO1. probably one of my favorite iron sights of all time
My favorite sights in BLOPS was the AK sights. They were so tight and made the gun feel like a precision tool to me.
Thats why i liked the fal. its was so clean and open. had basically that single point... alot like the ballista with iron sight actually
Yea, the ARs in this game don't seem to have those "surgical" sights they had in BLOPS.
I was a little disappointed because how comfortable the iron sights on a gun are is one of the determining factors for whether I'm going to use it or not.
I feel like i cant see **** with the iron sights on this gun, been using red dot and do much better with it
Hey, if that's what gets you by. I haven't used sights much since COD4 myself. Good ol' M-16 with a red dot. I know, I know .. I'm a stupid "noob" for using the M-16 ![]()
Anyhow, irons are what I'm used to now, plus I get to stack other attachments that are more beneficial and funner to use for me.
Use the set up that works best for you.Trial and error. Although if you dont want select fire because you got a mod... then lol no respect! Fal mods in this game are op... and unfair.. its like getting shot with a sniper... complete bs and makes me angry. You can tell its a mod by its un consistant shots and the fact that its faster then select fire.
TF & select fire.
Seriously though, only attachment I need on it is the stock, I'll add select fire if I'm feeling lazy.
Target finder and Select fire.
Cheapness at it's finest.
There is only 1 must while using semi autos and that is toughness.
You need to make sure you land your shots, without toughness you will miss more.
Core: Stock, Fast Mags, and RDS if you want
HC: Supressor, Stock, Fast Mags
(I love stock, I hate how you move so damn slow while ADS)
Hmm stock never use it - must give it a try - thx for tip ![]()
I always use Stock as well. Makes a lot of difference.
