1- If you are getting a White screen then go into your PS3 system setting, settings, then turn Control for HDMI feature OFF.
2- If number 1 is not your issue then try accessing Elite via the game and see if an update for elite comes up, if so download it and see if that solves your problem
I'm having the same problem, neither fix works. When I launch, all I get is a blank black screen and my TV dims like it's not receiving a signal. No response from my PS. When I try accessing it in game it tells me there is nothing available for purchase and kicks me out.
