*** SHOULD THE COMMUNITY UPDATE STICKY  INCLUDE  "FIXES UNDER CONSIDERATION"?***

Posted by gallp13 on Dec 31, 2012 1:48 AM

Request for Change Logs to include "fixes under consideration"

As most folks may recall, it was routine for IWBH to inlude a list of fixes being worked on and fixes being considered for patches on the end of the forum change log sticky for MW3. This list was updated roughly bimonthly.

I am guessing  most folks may like to see this info from [3arc]ADMIN on the Community Update sticky.

Who would like to know what Vahn and the team are considering patching? I vote YES. Am I on my lone some?

Happy New Year to All

I would love this. Let us see what is coming up as far as fixes and updates so we know whether this so far lackluster of a lag fest will ever be fixed

There's nothing wrong with the game. It's perfect. Any problems you think you have are all in your head

Yes I wouls like to see what they're working on. But I know from experience that Treyarch tend to very quiet on anything that's going on. Unless it's making more money. Like DLC for example.

Yes. The communication with the community needs to improve. There should be a weekly sticky with information on known issues, hotfix and patch notes. Tell us of work in progress, and keep us informed of potential changes.

We may not always like what we see, but it would be helpful.

everyone who read it would just get pissed off even more with 3arc. it would just be a bunch of gun changes based on stupid math that has little to do with the game, and nothing would be said about what is actually wrong with the game. Vahn doesnt think anything is wrong with the game.

i would say no. because it would just piss me off more if they ignore the problem. right now we dont know wether or not they are working on any one of the major issues, but if they wrote down what they were fixing and didnt inclide issues that have been in the game since day one then it would be stupid and piss me and a lot of other people off

Some issues are unfixable. LAG happens to be one of them.

i would like to beleive that but every other COD game since i started in Cod 4 i have never lagged so bad. so what do you say about that? its not something im doing because nothing has changed, so it must be something with the game.

We arent talking about YOU lagging, we are talking about everyone overall. Just because you dont have lag issues doesnt mean they dont exist.

either way im pissed. but at least if i know they are attempting to fix it there might be a chance to save the game. but if they are just ignoring it.... well game change time. Itll save me some hair

yes! dice always keeps battlefielders aware of problems that are in the process of being fixed. we need to be informed by treyarch as well.

I agree there should be more stickys, "suggestions" for lag fixes, how to report boosters, some of the common and overrepeated threads that are created on a daily basis.

Nope, would only cause more complaining.

I think everyone would love "updates under consideration" but could you imagine the flaming that would spawn from this? Every developer takes a look at the mass complaints, gathers as developers in house, and discusses these changes, and implements them the best they see fit. Take World of Warcraft for example. The amount of complaining on those forums is insane. However, they still hold 10 MILLION players. They are doing something right, and most people and players of that community would tell you blizzards support is sub-par.
