For those of you that still check in, I found a good headset. I just picked up an Afterglow headset. It is wireless and works with the PS3, WiiU and XBox, incase you upgrade. I love it so far and it is waaaaaay better than the headbanger that has a 6 foot cord. Cost $99 in the U.S. well worth the price.
It sucks in general. They break easily. For Wii U, most people use ipod headphones(yeah, they work), and some just buy xbox turtle beaches($50+) and an adaptor thingy($3) and just do that. The quality varies....ipod headphones are crap and xbox turtle beaches are good. The wii u turtle beaches itself is pretty good, but some people dont like it.
