Triple Kill with an rpg for gold camo that's pure evil treyarch

I have the smaw in gold and the stinger (ajh or whatever its called in this game) and I have every challenge done for the rpg except for the triple kill but the problem is the rpg is so underwhelming you basically need to get it right at their feet for a kill not 2 feet to the left or right but smack dead on them or right at their feet which makes this challenge so ragingly annoying to get.

 

for those who have it done I have to assume it was blind piss taking luck that the magikarpesqe splash damage of the rpg actually spread to 3 people I have decided to wait until when our chistmas noob friends pop on because hopefully I will be able to find three of them sitting at b on highjacked and hopefully get 3 kills with it then.

 

Anyone else come across a frustrating challenge that is just keeping diamond or a playercard just out of reach post below let me know Im not alone in my frustration

      I did try hardcore and the damage is more how I feel an rpg should be however I havent seen anyone really group together in hc but i guess Ill keep grinding away  and see if it works thanks for the reply

        HC KC, Hijacked. Get into the middle with Flak Jacket on... check the sides. Best way to do it.

    It doesn't necessarily has to be with a single rpg.

    Moldredd is right. You can get two kills with your gun and then get the third kill with your RPG for an RPG "triple kill". That's the easiest way to do it. It does not require a literal triple kill with an rpg.

      Reeeeeeeally? hmmm might have to investigate this with fast hands as my 2n perk i should be able to come upon a group unawares and pull this off.

        Yeah, I found out through a buddy. Kinda silly that it works that way but it does. So yeah fast hands would be a good choice for quickly equipping your rpg after getting two gun kills. Or I suppose, one gun kill with a double rpg lol. Whichever!

        I'm afraid you are wrong sir.The last kill has to be an RPG, not a gun. It works. You cannot get a double RPG and then get a gun kill in time to get an RPG "triple kill"

         

        However, you can get two kills with your weapon and get another guy with an RPG to get the "triple kill" and it will count for the RPG triple kill challenge.

          Just tried out your theory ...  and it worked!

           

          Just for the ones that may not beleive it ive uploaded

          the clip showing a Double Frag kill + a single Rpg Kill

          earning the triple kill medial and unlocking the camos

    Hmmmmm.....I'm pretty sure that all the 3 kills have to be with the RPG. I would like to see a video that actually prooves you can use a gun for any of the kills.

     

    Also this challenge made me want to throw my controller through the window! I would suggest doing what I did which is this:

     

    Play ground war (just simple logic more people = higher chance of happening)

    try to find domination matches (with an objective you are more likely to see groups, whether on the objective or at the spawns)

    Then just keep trying til you get it

     

    I got mine on groundwar dom on turbine, aimed at B and just got lucky with one rocket.

     

    also it will still count as a triple kill if you get 1 or 2 with the first rocket and get the rest with the second rocket if you fire it immediatley after reloading.

      My friend just unlocked the diamond camo for all rockets yesterday and that was the missing one. He just fired his two rockets into the set of stairs on Raid and got it. The first rocket was a double kill, the second hit someone who wanted to join the club.

    i got it play groundwar on raid i went to cap B and i fired the rpg at the van got 4 kills and thats it done im sure it shouldnt have counted since it was that van blowing up that killed them but il take it

    i got mine on the first try, no lie. it was pure luck though, i was playing hardpoint and shot a rocket into the door and got a triple kill. i got lucky i thought that would be the toughest. currently dying trying to get a bloodthirsty with the bow. play the moshpit as it puts you in a lot of team situations where you have to have more than one person close to the obj like hardpoint and headquarters. nuketown works too.

    This is kind of cheating but for that triple kill I know a few friends that got a double kill with their primary and pulled out their RPG to get the third kill. This is random but if you need some tips on other things I found this really cool guide on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Call-Black-Ultimate-Guide-ebook/dp/B00ARM16IG and its really helpful for lots of things.

      It isn't that bad if you remember that you have some time to get a Triple Kill- meaning you can get three kills firing 2 rockets back to back.  You don't need to get all 3 with one rocket.  I just blasted away in games like headquarters and demolition, it isn't hard to find large groups of people in those games.

    I got mine on ground war domination on overflow, I worked my way through the alley into the window above b flag and caight 3 people capturing the b flag.

    yea someone else on here already said it but i just got my diamond launchers by getting the triple kill with the RPG by actually not getting 3 kills with the RPG. I got a double kill with my AN-94 and pulled the RPG out to blast some randy spraying at me and when i blew him up i got the triple kill skulls camo unlocked along with the diamond camo since it was the last camo i needed. good luck

    Lol. I just got it today without even trying. I sniped two guys on Yemen with my MSR then quickly spotted a sniper who wanted to shoot me. To make it funny I sniped him with my rocket as well, hahha. I guess that was the power of christmas!

    I got mine by shooting an rpg for a double, reloading, and getting the 3rd kill for the triple. Nuketown hq / hardpoint is the best.

    I got mine in a sharp shooter match one kill after another kinda random and lucky but worked out well.

    Is this valid still? I've been getting 2 gun kills then fast handing to my RPG and getting the triple kill emblem but no camo..

      "Fixed an issue with the Skulls Camo Challenge for the RPG unlocking by using other weapons in conjunction with the RPG."

    I just got my diamond camo for my launchers this past weekend, with the RPG being the last one I needed gold.

     

    After I got my 100 kills with the RPG for my Kryptek: Typhon camo I went straight to the Nuketown playlist.

     

    After I played two full matches on Nuketown (one Headquarters and one Domination) I had everything done excpet for killing someone by blowing up a car ( I had gotten the triple kill twice, once in each match).  I managed to get the last camo in the beginning of my third match.

     

    So basicly yeah, if the Nuketown playlist is available just hop into that and spam the RPG...simple

     

    If your wondering (I have seen topics on this too) as far as taking down air support just wait for a stealth chopper, its a big target and only takes one rocket (flares do nothing against an RPG, don't think they even deploy)

    If you are really set on getting the RPG gold then try this class out I have every weapon iced out so I think this will help you. First you must be dedicated to get the challenges.

     

    No primary

    RPG

    No Lethal Grenades

    Any tactical Grenades

    Flack Jacket/ Blind Eye

    Scavenger

    Tac Mask

     

    Best class set up and you do scavenge RPG. But be carefull you won't get a scavenger pack if you kill them with explosive. Wait for a team mate with a gun to shot some one and get the pack that falls of them.

    just go into HC KC or HC CTF

    use em alot i also thought this was like the hardest challenge ever until i went to HC CTF on hydro just shot my 1st RPG tada triple kill and i was like hmm intresting that wasnt so bad

    its stil luck based and i hate challenges that are based off luck...

    they dont show skill only dedication but dedication to a challenge like get a triple kill with the RPG is just plain anoying

    I did this challenge on HQ its easy. After you have capped a base run and hide until the opposing team starts to recap it. You will always find two or more players sitting round it capping it back!

    I got mine done in Dom. Fired one into some smoke on B at the start of the second round, got a triple. In fact I got several RPG triples playing Dom

    all my challenges for the launchers were pretty easy, with exception of the triple kill, i did it last night (a month after completing all other launcher challenges)

     

    try it on HQ- especially on hijacked - ideally wait for the other team to capture HQ ,wait chuck a Flash/concussion then unload an rpg ... the HQ at the back of the boat is the best, as you can hide above and smash em!!

      This is one of the best ways or cap the HQ yourself and wait till they are trying to cap it back. Concussion etc RPG.

    I just got the triple kill challange 1 game after I got the 100 kills.

    I still have to do the other ones. Don't even have the double kills yet.

    I did double kill with shotgun and last kill with RPG. It worked
