Why the commotion about no more spawn delay in HC?

I have no idea why this is such a big deal. I have waited so long for them to do away with that thing and I am glad they did. Most people say they dont like it because it is part of what made HC what it is. That is not really true. What makes HC different from Core is the miniscule health and friendly fire/ricochete. The spawn delay has nothing to do with it. All the spawn delay does is make the game go slower and make it more slow paced.

 

I for one think it was a great idea. And I honestly thought more people would be HAPPY that it is gone. I guess the people that dont like it are the ones that want to camp and get tired of the player they killed coming back so fast to kill them.

    Those against it are upset they can no longer spawn camp or hold down a position as easy. Since now the enemy can rush them more often making it harder to reload and keep shooting.

     

    Some do not like that they feel it reduces the communication. That with no delay teammates do not have to report when or where or how they died. Like that was ever the case anyways. Most games I played unless with freidns no one talked even when there was spawn delay.

     

    Some are stupid to think everyone should spawn with them so they can mass rush a spot to overtake it, when that is not needed to be done at all in this game.

     

    A good lmg player with a full clip could eaisly take out the mass rush tactic with out even breaking a sweat doing so.

     

    So really it is just people upset that the game no longer caters only to their desires and how they felt it should be played...

     

    as if the players ever really new what was best for the game in the first place... not.

      I have ALWAYS been a HC player, no spawn delay is the best thing that has happened to HC.. Except HCKC that's my favorite!!! MW3 introduced it, no spawn timer.. BO2 polished it with no spawn timer, WELL DONE.. And I speak for my clan of 70+ HCKC players.. We were very happy after the update to say the least..

        If you dont want to wait to respawn- don't get shot so often, or play core. It sounds as if they have changed it for all the ADHD noobs out there, a spawn time stops people being too reckless with there lives, it also keep some balance and order in the game. The fun police (3arch) should have shortened the spawn time and see what the reaction was before they abolished it all together.

    The no spawn delay is awful. If you have a decent team it's easier to trap a team in their spawn and just unload on them with kill streaks. It's really crap when you shoot a guy and then turn a corner to have him right there again. The no spawn time encourages more "camping". Maybe the people the complained about it being too long needed to just take their time instead of dying constantly and having to wait to respawn
