Seems to be better since patch 1.04

I have been complaining about this game since it came out but now I think they have my biggest gripe, the lag, almost sorted.

I used to have one good game for every four bad ones now the ratio has switched since the patch, four good ones for every one bad. I suppose I have to say thank you even though this game should not have been launched in the shoddy condition it is still in.

All the other issues stand but seeing as you seem to have fixed the lag issue I will give it more time. Not much now Treyarch, keep whipping those programmers, give us the perfect game this should hopefully be.

    Keep playing think you may have been lucky but all the old problems are still there lag comp still toss.

    It's actually gotten worse for me camping snipers get me before I see them even though I'm targeting their camping spot waiting for their pretty little heads to appear

    Placebo effect, or a fluke, there were no matchmaking or lag related fixes in the patch. It's still the same laggy POS it has been since patch 1.03.

      Lol, yeah, placebo effect, I've played about 40 to 50 games and it was much sweeter to play, although I did read what the update includes and it didn't mention anything that could point towards the lag issue being fixed. Unless of course I was the lucky guy caught on the good side of lag for ann afternoon.... Ahh good times! Almost afraid to go back and play tonight in case it all goes to pot again.

          Has anyone tried to delete the game (keep the data file) and reinstall it after the new patch?  Sometimes patches don't "patch" perfectly and I'm wondering if anyone has tried this.

          You've probably been banned if you are signed into PSN and it freezes on load. I'm still fighting for an answer as to why I've been banned and I haven't even been able to play the damn game. Apparently I have a "hacked" console even though its on LEGIT Sony firmware... Got to love retaliation bans...

    I do experience a few better games, but there's still a lot of lag for me. I'm insta dying way too much, just got dominated by a guy with an SMR when I had a PDW and we were 10 feet from each other. I ended up running into this guy all game long and lost every gun fight. Everyone in the lobbies now are 4 bars though which is a change.

    you could all try removing the latest patch and testure pack and reinstall

                    I would, but I like to keep them all, I've got every Call of Duty game since the original PC version, besides I don't need the money for them, admittedly this game hasn't been one of the highlights! but it has its place in the series.

                      Yeah also got them all and this will prob be my last mw3 started the downward recline with that stupid over use of lag compensation.... Shame would be a good game if they listened but sadly they dont. Change things that dont need changing and never fix things that people are screeeeeeeeeeming for.

    Patch didn't change one ****. Still the 3bars with their dialups that are ruling the universe.
