Messaging clan members

i think that the clan leader or members or both should be able to message clan members from elite like a "message to all friends" concept, but prevents spam this would helpful for getting clan ops and clan challenges to people atleast allow clan leader to have it, i own a clan with 100 people and its hard to get participation without messaging everybody as many members dont check elite.

 

please like so that activision will consider this, thanks

    I agree with this. This system, if implemented, needs to not utilize XBL as it only supports 25 messages per day (not sure about PSN) to people who aren't your friend plus the short 250 character limit of the message isn't enough. It needs to be email based.

     

    The Message of the Day functionality is nice that it notifies them on the site as well as in the COD Elite apps (with push notifications on mobile devices).  Very helpful for a quick message...but again this is something that most don't check regularly.  Email is something most individuals check on a regular basis and is the most flexible.

     

    Possible Solution:

    Elite offers a new feature to clan leaders called "Email Members"

    Leader can enter a subject and message

    Email would be sent to every clan members email address that they used when registering for elite.

     

    My community has the advantage of already having it's own site which allows me to email the community easily, but this is not the case for the majority of the clans. The solution above would be very beneficial and helpful for clan leaders to be able to communicate with their members.

    Or... have your entire clan in a facebook group. It's easier, quicker and more trustworthy than hoping ELITE will ever get better. Sometimes, you have to bite the bullet and realize that some things aren't going to happen.

    totally agree, im a clan leader and we have a group on facebook. but ill be a helpfull tool to contact all 100 members...  also it should have an option for leader to see who is been inactive in the clan for long periods... there is no way to see that. unless you go 1 by 1 member's playercard...

      Copy and paste the clan roster and save it, with a date and time, a few days later do the same again and compare them, that way you can see the difference in the hours played, not ideal but it works

       

      In response to the original post, i agree with this idea it would be very helpful, maybes a system where it messages them on psn via elite, i can only see it wanting to be used by clan leaders for upcomings ops
