Everyone is a vet in their own eyes.

Game would be awesome if it was fair.

      Your words ring true.

I guess IMO, a vet is a gamer who has played all or at least most CoD's ever made. I remember kicking but in CoD on PC in high school. Of course, no perks, limited weapons and ADS'ing was optional! Lol

I agree, BO2 does have potential to being at the top. I enjoy BO2 as well.

However connectivity and matchmaking is where most of the hate is being thrown around.

I would have to agree. I have defended CoD in many posts and I just don't want to think I was in denial by doing so. Speaking of Matchmaking, I read on another thread that the "Skill matching" was applied to Public matches too.....I can see this causing huge issues in matchmaking.

Hopefully a patch is incoming. All I have to add is, remember Blops1 the first couple weeks in???? I just hope that they designed the game for easy tweaking.

Exactly. BO2 is at the moment in the same position as BO was at launch. It has it's share of connection & matchmaking issues like BO which I can trust Treyarch will be making adjustments to over the next month or so.

MW3 to me was a complete disaster even before the game launched and judging from the decline in player numbers & poor DLC sales (for the latest COD title), it was a terrible COD game that I will NEVER return to and I can guarantee it. I've played my fair share of MW3 and the design decisions going into that game was a mess.

I'm loving BO2. I'm not doing as well however I'm having fun which is the point of playing a video game....having fun. Treyarch does have some work to do to iron out the issues and I'm confident they will do whatever they can to improve the game.

So far, I'm happy but I know they can improve the game.

Really like the game, only flaw right now is the poor team balance (evident in all CODs though) and the matchmaking, if im on a good connection its near perfect. The main problem is the players, people sitting in corners, camping with launchers, shock charges etc that are ruining the game - the sheer number of different items being abused by the community and matchmaking are the biggest downfalls.

Hmm....my experience on PS3 is different. I am called a "camper" and Shock charges and betty's help but they are by no means as affective as equipment use to be. Running around with an SMG seems to be the favored approach in my mind but I don't play every game like i'm charging the beaches of Iwo Jimma and praying I don't get mowed down. That's just....silly.

Best COD ever was COD 2 on PC. Nothing has even came close to that. However, I think this game has a lot of potential. The biggest problem with this game is the maps. In my opinion, these maps are the worst set of maps I've ever played on in any game, ever.

But, this is coming from someone who avoided NukeTown in Black Ops 1. I thought all the other maps in that game were brilliant. When I first started playing Nuketown, I thought it was just a map they threw together for fun to test the game on..and then decided to go ahead and release it.

I would have never guessed that people would have hosted tournaments on it, and took it seriously during online play.

Now, in black ops 2, they have made all of the maps in this game based on Nuketown..I mean Hijacked, is basically an even smaller, even more cramped and laggier version..

If they would make maps like Summit, Firing Range, etc along with fixing the matchmaking...the other problems like SMGs, Shotguns, etc would sort themselves out.

TL;DR - The problem with this game is the maps.

This game is amazing best CoD since the 4th one, Only if people would let treyarch have time to fix problems.

way better than MW3, and i think it can be the best if they at least fix some of the connection and matchmaking problems

I agree. This game blows mw3 away. There are some issues that I'm confident treyarch will fix. Very good game, in my opinion. I kind of wish it was the same pace as BO1 though. I feel like this game plays much faster, kind of similar to the pace of mw3 but just not as shitty of a game as mw3

I think that's a fair approach. These games are complex and MANY people are playing them 24/7. Some details about when and what is in the patch would be nice.

I know 3arc is known for fixing their games, I just hope they go back to the old matchmaking system I don't want to feel like playing MLG tournments everytime I play lol
