deranked in zombies (lower rank after restart)

i was blue eyed skull 5, now i'm normal skull 4

 

anyone else or just me ?

    Me too i have know clue what the hell happened its pissing me off I made it to level 30 and my rank went down

    does this mean there is a leader board effect to our ranks? the higher up we rank the better our emblem?

      Of course i just dont know why it would derank me if i didn't even play zombies.

        well if there is a leaderboard connection then that means someone outranked you and got your spot, this is a theory however but since you didnt play that would make sense

          It's getting gold weapons that deranks you, because I got a gold combat knife, the same day I got deranked and then I got a gold riot shield and the same thing happened I got deranked on zombies. I was blue eyes 5 stripes and now i'm only skull 3 stripes. Its been happening a lot to my friends as well. I asked them if they have gotten a gold gun, they said yes and the amount of gold guns that they havehave been the amount of times that they have been deranked on zombies.

            I had a blue eyed skull with a knive in it and 5 strikes. the next day it was down by one strike. (i golded an mp7 but i am not sure if it caused that.)

    SO in reply to my own started discussion and after several replies, 4 stated that they had deranked after they got a golden camo, we can pretty much conclude this is a bug that treyarch maybe can fix.

     

    U GET DERANKED IF U GET A GOLDEN CAMO.

      I got deranked but I didn't unlock any gold camos, there's more to the issue then unlocking a gold camo? I was a blue eye skul4 and now I'm a reg 4? Not sure people really know what the rank w zombies is, could be something different then we think?

      I had blue eyes with 5 strikes and I dont play multi player got back on zombies next day I am now down to 3 strikes and no blue eyes anymore

    Maybe if you dont play it takes away ranks maybe by the hour?

      Cant get deranked for not playing  for hour. I take small breaks to eat, go gym etc and there can be lot of space between game sessions. Never got deranked for being too long away from the game,

    This happened too me a few days ago...  Guess what?  I'm stuck there at that rank & it seems I am stuck there, anyone else having this problem?

      I was two shotguns glowing eyes, played multiplayer and got deranked to skull with knife, this is bulllshit!
