Damage means nothing...

Ive realiazed that it doesnt matter how much damage your gun says it has... All that matters is the rate of fire.... Ive countlessley gotten off first on people and still get laid down because there guns rate of fire is better... Its really annoying at times when you got the beat on someone and they just spray and pray and they kill you.....

    It's been that way for years particularly if you only see a couple of bar difference in the damage.  Now if you have a really high difference in damage without losing too much firerate the higher damage gun will win out but generally speaking you should always look for the higher firerate.  I will say that the SCAR and the AN (new AK) both seem to drop people a little faster than most of the other AR's and there is a single fire (I don't remember the name but it's third from the last to unlock) that deals a ridiculous amount of damage.  So it's generally a 2 shot kill.

      I use the SMR and its a beast its a semi-automatic assualt weapon I can kill in 2-3 shots from any distance but against a smg or sometimes sniper I will lose so I use better tactics and keep my distance, and I do pretty good I have leraned that you have to play smarter and you will do better.

        I use the SMR and Fal as well. Im pretty good with both and use those same tactics because thats exactlt were they are the strongest mid to long distance....but when you battle a mp7 across the map and he downs you before you get your second shot off is just unreal at times...

          Yeah that happens often sucks but nothing can be done except to try and avoid them as best as possible lol.

          I'm prestige 1 and I have already maxed out the SWAT and FAL twice. Great guns and adding auto onto the FAL can surprise people. I do get outgunned occasionally by other weapons (mp7 etc) but what I find what really makes the difference are the tactics you use around the map when moving around and choosing your point of attack. Sometime you get out smarted but remember that you are playing against other humans and humans are an extremely repetitive species!
