mouse does not work after upgrading to windows 8

My mouse does not work after upgrading to windows 8 when i play the game. I can move the mouse but i cannot click anything in the game. This happens both in MW3 and Black Ops, and sometimes my screen flashes a black line. Can someone help please

    does your mouse work correctly with other online games, have you installed the latest drivers for your mouse, or it may be simply that the game is not windows 8 compatable and it's not your mouse at all. try updating videodrivers and try another mouse.

    Hi !

    I have the same problem with the mouse... did you find any solution ??

    It is quite annoying... every other game works normal... for MW3 the mouse works both Clicks but i can't aim.... basicaly i move the mouse and nothing happens... the mouse is a generic one... (2 buttons 1 wheel) and i never needed any kind of drivers for it... if anyone can, please help !!!
