This exclusive DLC deal was offered to Sony first, who rejected it in order to keep exclusive titles instead of just having exclusive DLC for one game. The thing you and and all your whiny counterparts ignore is that ps3 users had the same opportunity and Sony decided to spend their money elsewhere.
The key phrase in your entire post is that you PAY the same amount for the DLC. If you have such an issue with the exclusive contract, don't buy the DLC. You are one or a million who's posted this same thing on the forum. The contract was renewed so basically put up or shut up. Constant moaning won't change anything about the contract

Again, I just want the motivation behind the deal. Not that it was offered to Sony first who rejected it. Which I did read some where but if your going to use that line then help others out and post the link where they can find that answer. Not really whiny here just asking a question of Activision. As for put up or shut or moaning to change the deal. Sorry to disappoint your rant but really doing neither. I will pay for DLC regardless as I enjoy the game and really could careless about waiting for DLC. And no moaning here. Just want to really know if the deal/renewal was simply over money or were other things involved. The motivation behind the deal. Just curious about that part. Again I could really careless about waiting for DLC because I have nothing but time. And I may be one or a million that's posted the same thing on the forum. But you know you what? I'm sure more still will. And by the sound of your post your tired of hearing about it. If that is the case then deal with it because it is a public forum the millions of people who play have the right to post that topic if they choose to.

If 1979 was the year you were born... Then you SHOULD have enough sense to understand... It was for the money. These threads are so ridiculous.

Again, what makes you think they need to explain their business contracts with us? But aside from that what other motive do you believe exists?
Why don't you start telling us what it is you think is the "true" motivation first!

Sorry for misinterpreting your post. At first I though you were just another whiny crybaby, but I'm coming to understand you are simply naive and don't quite get how the business world works. It's obviously all about the money. Money talks, Microsoft has alot of it and was willing to pay activision. I fail to see what's so hard to grasp about the concept

If it's truly about the money then I would like to know that is the reason.
Guy if its not about money, then what do you really think its about? Fun? haha
I know a few will post of course its about the money but would rather hear it come from Activistion them self. I'm not an idiot and a good busness deal is just that a good one. And If the reason is truly about the money then say so
Your thread contradicting your "im not an idiot". They (activision) have no reason to explain themselves to you, me or anyone.
Just would like Activision to come clean to PS3 users why we still have to wait for the DLC again. We pay the same price for the game and DLC but due to deal between to company's it again is the consumer that pays the final price.
What in the world, come clean? Money guy, Money is a dirty little thing that turns this wonderful world.
Your expectations that "you" deserve a "clean" answer is one of the funniest things I've read, funny stuff man thanks.

It's the nanny state mentality. Everybody's a winner, me, I, mine.......it's sick is what it is. "I deserve this, that, all of it!" It's as if they automatically are on the board of directors because they are entitled to it. I just hope this type of behavior/thought process is put in check because it's not healthy for any society.

That's how business's stay in business in the face of stiff competition, period. This guy needs to watch the show "The men who built America" on the History channel. It will open your eye's to the positives and negatives of big business but also they will learn the risk and sacrifice that is taken by corporations all the time. Sink or swim. That's capitalism. If we had communism, we would be playing with sticks!

There is always someone who jumps on the forums for the 1st time and stirs up crap that has been long since known and dealt with.
You want answers, search for it. The information is out there.

Dude you know better. It has always been about the money. If they could've gotten the money from Sony then the failBOX users would be bitching about the same thing.

There are very good reasons why Sony did not finalise the deal, and it all fell back on the Activisions business model and the Sony (high) requirements for a Sony supported game.

Bro, it is about the money. Why do two companies making a business decision with each other in 2012 have to give you a reason for it? You know it is about the money!!!
Why would that coming out of their mouth make you feel better about it, anyway? You already know it is true. PS3 get DLC a month later. Deal with it. I did during the whole year of MW3 season of content. It didn't bother me. Yes, I would like to have had it one month earlier, but I didn't cry about it. That is just the way it is.
Microsoft gives Activision $ to develope the game first on, demo on, advertise for, and provide DLC ealier on Xbox. In turn, Microsoft gets more $ in sales. People are more likely to buy an Xbox to play the new upcoming game if it is advertised on that platform and some more hardcore gamers (and people with money to spare) are more likely to buy the other system if one of their favorite games gets earlier DLC on that system.
In fact, I recently purchased an Xbox 360 (and switch my BO2 pre-order to Xbox 360) and that was one of the big factors in deciding to purchase one (that and Kinect for my wife). Black Ops 2 will get DLC one month ealier.
IT IS ABOUT THE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!

Because Sony knows that Activision fails with games. Microsoft will get whatever they can.
