Black ops 2 zombies is now completely RUINED

Now that there is a new gamemode for zombies that lets you start on the round that you want to, make it headshots only, and change the difficulty, zombies is now officially ruined. the purpose of zombies is trying to survive as long as you can. but now since you can pick what round you want to start on, there is no point of even playing. So thanks treyarch, for ruining zombies as a whole.

    Are you able to still start at round 1 and get all the way up there? Yes. Does this mean that the core functionality you are looking for has beent taken away from you? No.

     

    Perhaps the game has changed, but it is no way or shape unplayable. Just keep it in mind.

    But just knowing that instead of starting from round one, i can just start at round fifty is not fun

    I really wouldn't base your assumptions on a few leaked screenshots of a menu screen

    I don't see your point.  You still have the ability to play it as you normally would.  The mode that you are talking about is basically a private match mode that doesn't have any affect on your leaderboard position.  Having private match options in multiplayer hasn't ruined multiplayer.  It just adds another fun feature for the individual to tweak his gaming experience if he choses to do so.

    What you are talking about is Private Matches. They are implementing more customization for players who want to host a private match with their friends or other people. There i still the "Classic Survival" game mode, dont worry.

    With Custom Matches we can start wherever or whenever we want.  To my knowledge this doesn't affect Leaderboards, and it can't because Headshot only matches would ruin MP by default.

     

    Can someone post a video of Round 40+ to show me that we can't make "Trains"?  I fear the worst because in the Theater mode teaser the guy is running trains.  I hope this is an earlier round and the later rounds we get sprinting zombies and such.  I noticed he didn't have a PaP weapon and 9k, so I'm guessing this is the earlier rounds.

    You can only choose between starting at round 1,5,10,15 or 20. You are not allowed to choose a round past 20.
