While this is true I prefer hc for a number of reasons I do play core  and have done on every CoD. But again i honestly cant remember more than two examples of ever being lag switched in a game.. I'm not disputing what people say just I dont believe some people really understand what a lag switch looks like in game.

onlive is cloud based streaming you cant make a comparison, but every year with home broadband bandwidth increasing plus the addition of the coming soon next gen consoles the need for dedis is moot

Well I´d rather not come across any as they ruin the game. I wasn´t making a comparison I was only pointing out that their service was pushing boundaries. They need their connections to run as smooth as they possibly can and are paying attention to improving their customers experience. Since you´re a network whiz you´ll probably understand it better than me, when I read about them trying to route their customers traffic through tier 1 connections or something to that end. I thought it was a valid point for future experiences.

If that was the case, do you believe EA would stop using dedicated EA servers for their FPS shooters for the next gen consoles & switch to listen servers?

 

I think the only EA FPS I've played that used listen servers was Crysis 2 and the connectivity in that game was worse than MW3.

Crysis was bad for me too I couldn´t get one decent match online and barely played it. On that note I´m off to play my new EA stop gap until blops, if it´s any good that remains to be seen.

anyway, they actually fixed it in mw2 so you can see how many people are in each playlist?  I'd check for myself but i don't want to have to turn on the wireless here for my ps3 cause the wireless here sucks and my ps3 never wants to turn the wireless off so i can actually use the cord.  I don't like this name, making another one

Do the old "Private Match" trick.  When you back out of a lobby you don't want to re-enter, go into a private match and then back out, then go search for a public match.  Might have something to do with how the game searches or something, or it might be that you just waited the extra few seconds before getting back into the swing of things.

this thread is dead now, devs left it. this game ends like it started, in a complete lagfest gameplay. In France no one well known youtuber wants to play this  garbage, i'm waiting bo2 now with hopes...for your info, devs, to be constructive, i'm always put in a lobby with turkish, german, spanish, etc. my last post here, one year with lag lag lag and lag, that's what your game is and will be for most of the cod community, very sad for you.
