Umm.....that's because they can't advertise a sole version of the game, all advertisements must have the Xbox360 logo burnt on it.....kind of like this....I saw this new ad a few days ago at the local gamestop...

BO2 on the wii.....well I heard rumors....i saw a legitemate british website accepting pre-orders for the wii version of BO. The same website that had BO2 wii u on their list before it was announced. It makes sense......its a pretty good marketing strategy......Nintendo/Activision need a good launch title. A big name launch title. What better big name launch title than Call Of Duty? Perfect way to show off the Wii U is capable of handling anything the big boys can. OF course, they need sales....and since its a launch title....well.....my guess is that they decided to have a big event announcing BO2 on the Wii U. Tons of people preordered....blah blah blah.....later on, a wii version is revealed...but since everyone has already spent money pre-ordering wii u and BO2 wii u....well....yeah. . Plus, everyone who hasn't preorder wii U or Bo2 wii u would just buy the Bo2 wii version to save money. Blah blah blah. Just a theory..

I'm guessing by top dog consoles you are referring to the Xbox and PS3.
