I think why so many dislike it is because it pretty much MW2 but worse. (not including hacks,)
MW2 had a variety of good size maps that allowed for every play style nearly. MW3 doesn't. only these very small maps.
With the power the ps3 offers. to be stuck in very small maps with very very limited environmental options is a very old way of thinking.
Apparently they only fight in nice sunny weather . and least mw2 had maps with heavy rain or overcast.
Would have been much better to have a changing environment. night,day,rain,fog/haze. That would have been a true modern warfare.
the environment it self is primitive. This reminds me of the days of the original DOOM. You know. Where even bushes or tall grass make navigation impossible. MW2 had the ability if u wanted to crawl thru tall grass and bushes to sneak attack.
IW did a bad job on MW3 and it shows.
Im not bashing on the MW3 game. but IW dropped the ball and sold us a lesser version of MW2 but with less quality (hacking aside). I don't know if they just didn't have time to include the ability to crawl/run thru bushes or tall grass or maybe they just thought we wouldn't care?
