Anyone else feel like the game kills you on purpose sometimes

Do you ever feel like the game intentionally ends you long killsteaks with a highly unlikely grenade bounce to the face or intentionally removes you from the action by killing you off the spawn repeatedly
Sometimes I wonder, and then I start to think that aliens were somehow connected to the construction of the Great Pyramids. It just smells fishy to me
lol, this is a bit weird, only an hour ago I was thinking a similar thing. I am currently working towards getting as many challenges done. It seems to me I can go from 0-749 in no time at all and then struggle to get the one left! I've noticed too that when I finish a game and check challenge progress there is nearly always 1 or 2 kills left to get. Why didn't I get those in the match? Just luck, coincidence or conspiracy? [removes tongue from cheek, but it is true]
i see what your saying.. it seems that you will die when your on a role lol, but i think it has to do with spike jumps in connection, and or decision making... at least for me.. when im on a role i start to play where i think about it too much, instead of not paying attention to killstreaks..
I use to think it was lag, then I started to really pay attention. I could kill someone no problem for an entire match, then just as I'm closing in on a get KS or on 20ish kills that person whips around the corner and takes me out
The biggest buzz kill I get though is spawns. Like the worst spawns, the kind where the enemy pops up right behind you and doesn't even have to move to kill you
Maybe it slows your frame refresh rate down so that you don't see them in real time as quickly giving the other guy a jump. If they have lag comp, they can easily do this. Man I hope this just a myth.
If this is true (and like you I certainly hope it's not true) then I would seriously start demanding restitution for the hundreds of dollars I've spent playing this game. Maybe even ask for resitution on the monitor the Audio EMP fried
Biggest thing that ends my killstreak is when I'm trying to shoot someone to get my chopper say then a team mate will either spawn in front or team mate will run right in the line of fire so frustrating lol
G, I have thought this for a LONG time but I dared not say anything because I thought, "well, it could have been me" or "Can't win them all". It helped keep me from busting my nice Samsung TV! I have experienced this MANY times, especially after a couple days of just slaughtering people but then on day 3, I have to resort to using 'easy' guns because of the WTF. I truly wonder if there is programming in place to 'slow' a person down if they are just constantly kicking butt. God I hope we are wrong because we all know what that means.
Maybe that's why they have added the guardian to blops 2 lol
Slowing everyone down
Thanks for agreeing, I was worried that this post would cause an uproar against me

YES, great post. The spawning of this game is designed for revenge kills almost exclusively. Plus we need to pay attention to random exploding equipment that seem to blow up as your character gets near, again on purpose.
I must confess to wondering this in the past because of the reason you mention, who knows what programming and algorithms have been written into the game, the pre-launch hype was that this game would cater to all players, it wouldn't be in their interests to make a game where new players were constantly getting slayed 24/7
However when players get into Beast Mode and get those high rewards, without knowing your playstyle can change subconciously, possible becoming a bit too confident.
I know when I start my streak i'm cautious, as I get nearer to the Mega streak I get a little impatient and make a mistake.
Who Knows? But I think a lot of COD Vets have wondered at some time whether they've been
BALANCED ![]()
I absolutely hate this!!!
You can be on a 10, 15, 20 killstreak and then BAM, the games says FU and then you end up dying 10 times in a row to end your once 20-2 game with a 20-14 record....
The spawns in this game are just terrible. Kill someone, run into another room, just to have some random enemy spawn right behind you and shoot you in the back...
Eeeeyup. It's like:
Me: "HURR DURR ABOUT TO GET REAPER"
Game: "NOPE, LEMME SPAWN THIS GUY NEXT TO YOU, TEEHEE"
Me: "You frakkin' douche."
haha yes, definatley this game requires tin foil hats "G" ![]()
Yeah, as if deathstreaks weren't bad enough, wouldn't be surprised if there was some coding that "balanced" the good players with the horrible players. I've had games where I was doing very well getting all sorts of good killstreaks. But towards the end of the match and my team is punishing the other, all of the sudden the "switch" is flipped and now the other team is insta-killing us and there are pavelows/choppers/reapers in the air from the other team? Seriously, it's like WTF happened here? I don't care anymore honestly. Once BLOPS 2 drops, I'm never playing this game again....ever. That and I'm the UNDISPUTED king of getting killed by the randomly chucked frag/semtex. The killcams are quite hilarious at times. Always nice to see some random noob chuck a grenade in the most random spots and, you guessed it, I'm right there.
Just this morning I had all 3 of my rewards won auav, stealth bomber and emp in a number of games with good kdrs going. Let loose with them and then couldn't buy a kill for all the tea in china. And then get spawned in front of enemies enough times to completely knock any flow out of my game and ruin any good kdrs. I destroy my kdr fine by myself without any help (I actually ptfo!).
I already had the same feeling for some matches too (maybe less than all of you because I am far from being a beast and games where I dominate all other players are very rare
). However, usually, when your team is punishing the ennemies, most of them are leaving before the end and replaced by new players, which means new skills and maybe new lag balancing, which could explain the changes. I hope there's no specific code "to slow down" good players ![]()

It's unlikely there is, but if you really look at lag compensation and how it works then you can see just how easy it would be for a program that slows the frame rate down of streaking players
CoD has been collecting data from all their games for many years. That data can be easily converted into precisely calculated algorithms to determine a players actions before they happen. With this information it can be determined where to spawn someone, how to bounce a grenade, or even how much lag would be needed to give someone an edge without making it look suspicious
This isn't a conspiracy theory, just a great way to curve skills of less players playing against seasoned players. And what better way to hide this program than behind lag
I think you're onto something here. The amount of times I've started a game, and I get something like 10 kills very easily, then all of a sudden, the game changes. No host migration and I can't kill a thing. No matter what I do, I cannot kill anything.
yeah, a little bit ![]()
We all go through this, it seems to come out of no where. Killstreak, deathstreak, killstreak. Those are how my matches go most of the time
