Sigh. There's been a lag comp fix incoming since last November, but the game has just gone progressively worse. I think it's pretty clear now that it's not getting fixed. There was supposed to be a definite lag compensation fix TU coming this month, but now it seems  you're taking that statement back and going with the "making adjustments where we can" thing again.

 

In my opinion you guys are just stalling, giving us false hope until BO2 is released and everyone's going to forget about this game.

The one GHANDI was talking about right? It's already been sent to Sony, Microsoft and Valve. Waiting on cert

I am sorry but i was led to believe that there was a lag/matchmaking TU in the works that was coming 'soon', only to find out that it was already released, which by the way didnt improve the game at all.  I am sorry if i offended you, thanks.

Ah, we are going with the "Keep your hopes up" technique now?  Anyways sorry to be a jerk, short of you coming here and saying "it will be fixed tomorrow, I think you expect that the community is somewhat disappointed.

Also heads up on the new community game mode.  When I played it last week, there was a minor issue.  In Sabotage/demo/S&D (any of the bomb games), if there are 10 seconds left in the game and the bomb is planted, the game extends out until the bomb either blows or gets defused.  In the new game mode the game just ends with the bomb planters winning.  Was this something done intentionally?

Firstly, to touch on the issue of misleading the community on TU details that was raised. Our policy has been to detail the forward facing changes that you'll experience.

There are many updates that are made on most TUs that fall into the 'under the hood' bracket. We do not generally publish details of these for a number of reasons.

For example, I doubt anyone here would have been interested if we posted that at some point we'd increased our backend DB write caching efficiency. Why? Because it has no palpable impact on the game experience.

Lastly, regarding the TU that most of you are waiting for, news of this will be coming shortly.
